I believe that there really are problems in certain key positions where players in Super 15 can stake a claim for selection:-

Wing

Habana keep on performing excellently for Toulouse and I doubt not is the one selection.  The other wing selection is wide open and I think that this is one position we have to watch out for this upcoming Super 15.

No 13 Center

Another problem case. I think that this is another position we have to watch out for this upcoming Super 15.

Scrummie

Lets  see which of the scrummies come up tops in Super 15

No 7  Loosie

There will be much debate about this position in future.   I think that much attention will be paid to Burger - but there are other contenders as well.

Locks

Who should succeed physically-deficient Victor Matfield.

Props

Is Jannie and Beast on the way out and who should succeed them.

At tighthead, 5 lock, open and blindside flank, scrum half, inside and outside center, right wing, coach, bench cover for loosehead, tighthead, lock, loose forward, scrum half and at coach (did I say that already?)

Other than that, we're world beaters!!

Habana plays for Toulon, Mike.
Agree with your points made. I think in a few of those positions we have good depth though so it shouldn't be too much of a problem, providing Meyer picks correctly.

Mike ... it's too late to make any changes to Meyer's squad of elderly folk.

He had three years to work on it ... he didn't ... now it's best to stick to the Gurthros, the Pienaars, the Matfields, and the Alberts.

We have what ... 3 or so test left before the world cup ... right?

Any bets he brings Fat Fransie back in as a replacement for Jean De Villiers??

The only issue we have is with the coach, he is useless. We have depth to burn in every position:

15. Willie / Jessie Kriel / Taute / SP / Coetzee / Visser / Beyers / EW Viljoen

14/11. Habana / JP / Senatla / Sithole / Kolbe / Skosan / Mapoe / Rhule / v/d Heever / Jordaan / v/Wyk / Mvovo / Combrink / v/d Merwe / Volmink / Mjekevu

13/12. JJ / de Allende / Stokkies / Taute / Frans / Serfontein / Mnisi / Howard / Fisher / Williams / Odendaal / Vorster / Esterhuizen / Sithole / v/Wyk / Jessie Kriel / Dan Kriel / Janse v/Rensburg / Swanepoel / Watermeyer / de Jongh / Sadie / Frans Venter / Kok / Small-Smith / JP du Plessis / Ebersohn

10. Pollard / Jantjies / J. v/d Walt / Boshoff / Swiel / Coleman / Lambie / Goosen / Catrakillis

9. Hougaard / Faf de Klerk / Reincah / v/Zyl / Groom / Schraueder / Wright / Luithers / Hoffman / Schroeder / Bronco du Preez

1/3. Coenie / Marcel v/d Merwe / S. v/d Merwe / Nyakane / Kitshoff / du Toit / Kebble / Dreyer / Redelinghuis / Cayleb Oosthuizen / Maks v/Dyk / Beast / Mellett / Koch

2. Bismark / Strauss / Cooper / Visagie / Ackers / Marx / Scara / Mbonambi / Coetzee

4/5. Etzebeth / Willemse / PSDT / Lood / J. du Plessis / Lewies / Kleyn / Ruan Botha / Mostert / J.Marais / P.Marais / Wegner / Quinn Roux / Bullbring / Bernado

6/7/8. Coetzee / Vermeulen / Elstadt / Rhodes / Carr / Kolisi / Kriel / Whiteley / Minnie / Britz / Cook / Ross / CJ Stander / Arno Botha / Liebenberg / R.Smit / Oupa / Mtembu / Oosthuizen / Hattingh / Brussouw / Labascagne / v/d Walt / Louw / Wimpie v/d Walt / Prinsloo / Schoeman

If a coach cant find a winning 23 from this lot, he should be shot

There's certainly a lot of depth, Saffex. Let's hope he gets his selections right .

Agree Mike, but I think we will be OK at 1 & 7. Hoping 7 & 14 will be sorted in SR. Too little time for the other positions.  We must but hope FDP will be fit and in form. As for the rest.....

Boks have a lot of depth - some would say they are buried deep
