Are the rumours of Ireland's demise true?

Moz, it was Ireland vs NZ. Why the fuck would the NZ commentators bring up the whipping the ABs got in Wellington??

Did the Bok commentators mention the Boks conceding 38 unanswered points to the Aussies in SA during the Japan game?

I suspect not……

They didn’t Moolaa, but they also didn’t, mention a Grand Slam tour. Surely every YE tour starts as a potential grand slam tour for the Boks and ABs.

Moz a grand slam is vs the 4 home nations which the ABs haven’t had a crack at since 2010 so that’s why they bring it up!

Fair enough Moolaa, my mistake I wasn’t aware of the schedule and as Beeno says I’ve been schooled. Good luck with the Grand Slam, winning it will add to the edge of the NZ series next year.

Did you go to the game Moz? I was there and the first half was really a drag. It was good to see the ABs play well in the final 20 and they did show signs of being fluid in some parts of the game in the first half but the stop start and the problems with the TMO and the big screen were really disappointing.

I was surrounded by Irish supporters and they were a good bunch.

We don't understand Afrikaans but that does not give us the right to insult it.

Chat GPT:

Tapahia to mahunga ki nga pakihiwi ka kati to kaki

Tapahia to mahunga > Cut off your head

ki nga pakihiwi > to the shoulders

ka kati to Kaki > and your waist/hips will close

In essence, it’s metaphorical rather than literal. Most whakataukl

like this convey lessons about preparation, decisiveness, or consequences. This one is often interpreted as:

If you tackle a problem decisively at its source (head/leadership), the rest will fall into place naturally.

’I am sure that our Maori girls would love to get hold of your girlfriend:’

Does the Maori girls mean the literal meaning or metaphorical one?

Do people really get this upset at someone making a joke about their language? We have to hear stuff like "Afrikaans sounds like talking Dutch with a dick in your mouth" and so on. Who cares.

"We don't understand Afrikaans but that does not give us the right to insult it."

What it sounds like and what it means aren't the same think B&R.

...and what it means to you is yet another thing.

"ka kati to Kaki " tell me that doesn't sound like a child coming to terms with "Ks" and vowels...

Here's an Afrikaans word "Onverantwoordelikheidsgevoelensgebrekigheid” and i promise you it sounds like somebody having a stroke.

So calm down.

PS Tell your girls to bring guns, and very big dogs. They'll need them.
