Funny...it probably is but it was the only game I could excel at...never achieved anything in sport...only bowled Mike Proctor middle pin, caught Andre Bruyns out and played in the second and third rugby team..a school in Natal that cheated with 13 Natal Craven Week players...one a Springbok.
I was less than mediocre at sport...probably psychologically because lack of self esteem.
In a far larger scale it must happen today in the "cut-throat" world of highly competitive sport...just a few dismal lighls of my feeble efforts...oh yes I bowled The late Eddie Barlow out in a social game in Fransch H oek
