According to this article from Planet Rugby, Eddie Jones has said that he will persist with Dylan Hartley as his captain for this year's 6N if he proves his fitness.

I made England a near certainty to win this years 6N but I might re-think that if Eddie Jones is dumb enough to give the captain's armband to the violent, thuggish and petulant Hartley. I actually quite rate Hartley as a player but he's a red card waiting to happen and he seems incapable of learning from his mistakes.

Sadly, the career of nearly man Manu Tuilagi is surely all but over. The talented but injury-prone centre has yet another season-ending injury and I would guess this is curtains for him. He could have been an all-time great, now he'll probably be remembered as a one-test wonder . . . that test being his almost single-handed demolition of the All Blacks at Twickenham in 2012.

This sad news probably also puts a bit of a dent into the British Lions chances in New Zealand later this year.

"Hartly is an utter arse of a human."

That's possibly a bit unfair. You probably owe the arses of the word an apology for that comparison.

Actually this is a good example of the futility of the "RUGBY ONLY" whining. The string starts out with a poorly constructed rugby post that confusingly introduces the Tualagi injury in a discussion of who should be English captain. But then what follows is 4 replies insulting Hasbeen......and then a cry from the plagiarist to take the string back to the top. Under an all rugby policy most of this string would be expunged.

I don't know why you don't let the issue of what posters post where go Mozart. Posters will post as they want until Ed decides/enforces rules on this.
On the topic of this thread, Eddie is a smart cookie and he will make decisions that are good for his team, he's not mad.
Hartley needs to be given psychological therapy for sure and I'm not even sure Cloudy's sessions would be enough. He behavior is not good for the sport.

Careful JW, you're inviting a new poll on whether the humourless old toad should stop boring everyone to death as he continues dron ing on about the forum rules.

". . . a poorly constructed rugby post that confusingly introduces the Tualagi injury in a discussion of who should be English captain."
Oh dear . . . a post about the English rugby captain where I decided to mention another issue pertinent to English rugby and the doddering old fool got confused!
LMAO!
Followed by "show a bit of honesty for a change" . . . this from the most repulsive liar on this board who is only really known for three things . . . his boasting, his childishness and his fibs.
Spot the irony!

The headline was about Jones ....the main subject was about the English captain.....the very next post was about Tualagi injury. A CONFUSING, POORLY CONSTRUCTED POST THAT RAPIDLY GOES OFF RUGBY......AS SO MANY OF YOUR POSTS AND JW'S POSTS DO.
