According to World Rugby's official site, Ebenezer didn't steal one line out. Anyway, that wouldn't negate what I said. As a line out steal wouldn't mean a maul did occur, nor would it alter my wording even if it did. You're kind of labouring here. But this is something interesting from rugbypass ...

  1. Maro Itoje – 6

A quiet game by Itoje’s standards. He led England in tackling in the first half and was able to disrupt a couple of South African mauls, though it was not enough to influence the game in the same ways he had in the quarter-final and semi-final.

Rose The tackle on Itoje by Faf was only a small contributor to Faf making your “best lock” in the world his biatch. He embarrassed him multiple times in that series. Drawing penalties and made Itoje spunk early to ultimately score a try. No doubt, the little gentleman that Faf is, he made sure sure to thank the Nigerian import cordially each time. Note, Itoje sites Eben as his role model. At least he gets that right ;) Watch any rugby Podcast that you like or read as many articles as you want, when locks come up, Eben’s name is more often than not the first name mentioned. He gets respect from everybody. “Ask the audience” is still the most accurate lifeline in WWTBAM. Rose, whomever you are, stats aside, there is one defining factor that makes Eben great. He managed to improve under Alistar Coetzee. That alone makes him a generational player haha

Eben is a name and poster boy. Like all those times yarpies would be have a selection in a tourney xv. Who has better skills? Itoje. Who is the most dynamic? Itoje. Who is the better defender? Itoje. Who is better at the breakdown? Itoje. I'll give Eben the edge in the linouts as a jumper. That's his only edge. Eben outside the lineout does fuck all. Low energy participant. Eben never dominates a game. He never stands out as THE man. You want to talk about him being best in the world? This fuck isn't even the best in his own country. You see... only South Africa selects locks exclusively for set pieces. The rest if the world has moved in to a dynamic game where the locks are more dynamic and skillful. Eben could never do what Itoje does for England. He couldn't improve any of the top teams. Not skilled enough. You Yarpies love Ebenezer because he is a symbol of the masculinity you wish you had. A tall scowler acting like a bad boy. That's all. At least with Bakkies is wasn't an act. I could respect that. Ebenezer will never be what he really wishes he was. Now after I have blown up your fucking deluded fantasies be sensible enough to shut the fuck up.

The rest of the world have moved on….but we keep taking them apart in the scrums and lineouts. You haven’t blown up anything Red Ruse, you have simply repeated yourself. Do you have anything new?

Oh really? Lost 4 scrums to the Wallies... finished 3rd in last years rugby championship... it's the lineout and maul you dolt not the scrum. You lardy fucks keep belly flopping!

Here's some fun... Etzebeth. vs the worst all blacks "of all time"... 8 carries for 9 metres... nada else on attack... 4 tackles made 2 missed... what fucking awesome numbers. Clearly the work of the best fucking lock in history... of ALL time... for real ya'll! But wait, it gets better still...

Whitelock the old hasbeen who had a shit game who needs to fucking retire or get cut... in the SAME game... 5 carries for 13 metres... 1 defender bdeaten... 1 offload... 6 tackles made and 0 missed...

Guess who the GREATEST of ALL time is??? Hahahahahaha!!!! Pop goes the woozle!!! XD

Every single podcast i’ve watched since the game disagrees with Rose’s assessment of Eben and the Boks. Rose, have a look through the history of the posts on this site. When the Boks are shyte, we are their biggest critics. That speaks a little to how biased, or unbiased, we are. There’ll always be some bias but i think that SA fans are very critical of our teams. Your view seems to be that we view the Boks with rose coloured glasses but the evidence against that is all on this site…in black and white. My feeling is that the biggest issue for the Boks atm, is the black hole at 12. Esterhuizen broke his hand in the second Wales test. I guess it’s tough to tell, but i’m wondering if Rassie is over DDA and looking to phase him out. I think that Andre may have started the AB tests had he not messed up his hand. Up front, we are earning the right for our backs to express themselves, but that creativity is being filtered through DDA…easily the least creative and lowest IQ player of any of the backs in the squad. Pollard’s real skill is his assessment of attacking opportunities. He very rarely attempts to set the back line off only to have them caught behind the gain line. If you look at his decisions to pass or kick, when he passes, it’s usually with intent and potential. Meaning, DDA is receiving quality service, with assurances…and he more often than not flounders that quality ball. As Saffex says, 12 is a dang important. For me, a better 12 is the key to unleashing the Bok’s full potential.

Agreed Plum….with Willie, Am, Kolbe we have outside backs who can ring the cash register. But time and again Dud Allende crash balls and resets off good ball…it kills any momentum, and  puts us into a static situation.

He is not looking to breach the defence and even when the defence parts like the Red Sea as on Saturday he kills momentum with a dead head grubber.

Nothing in that man’s mind is engaged in breaching the defence. His best phase was back in 2015 when he was copying SBW. That actually suited him. Why he totally abandoned it is inexplicable.

As for Bakkies vs Etzebeth. Etzebeth is a way better athlete, stronger and with more stamina. The only place Bakkies has him is in the dead face look….nobody looked more like Bella Lugosi.

Orders from coaching staff...he's not the only one either.

Sad, but true, and bloody frustrating

Yep Faf has Itoje's number never mind about Eben.

Itoje is soft, a problem with too many England forwards.

Rosie Nose is soft in the head.

This is the biggest fucking laugh of them all. You know what, I'll give you that Plum, the yarpies can be very critical of the team but usually follow what the media says so it's a bit hit and miss there really... the media always have their agenda. I recall something about union backstabbing trying to get rid of Jake White. Media drive as well. All pure bullshit. I also remember Percy being booed by fans.. the media didn't like him either. So the fans are like pitchfork wielding mob but only no command. You also have to admit though that a lot of yarpies are very fucking egotistical. Any kind of little result and they go off their tits. No perspective, no foresight, nothing. Then the crying when it "unexpectedly" goes wrong.

this Bok side is shit. They are playing shit. You fucks have no idea what the fuck is actually going on on the field. It's fucking crazy how out there some of this crap is. The Blocks are earning the right to go wide? No they fucking aren't. Are the pack winning the battle on the line? NO they fucking are not. It's the kicking that is putting the game higher up the field and teams who can't or wont play the percentages are not winning the game. The Kiwis walked all over your defence... fucking literally... You fucks were knocked back for shit with those so called power carries. No penetration at all.

Now for the comment about De Lindy... he was always shit, and he was actually shittier back in 2015 than now. his defence is a bit better and he makes fewer obvious mistakes. But the classic arrogant yarpie bullshit... " we weren't wrong when we loved him... he played like Sonny Bill Williams... he just suddenly stopped playing like Sonny Bill Williams for the next 8 years". how fucking stupid and arrogant can you be??? I am literally laughing my ass off!!! Now my dog thinks I am fucking mad. Hahahaha!!! When yarpies try to think or make an assessment about something funny shit ensues!!!

Nah... got you bitches beat on the Eben crap. He is not Botha, and he is nowhere close to best in the fucking world. Best of all time? Crazy. Eben LITERALLY isn't good enough to wipe Botha's arse. Facts!

Watch Eben flattening Bismarck, tossing Lomp, bouncing Jaws , intimidating Itoje and showing a turn of speed a wing would envy. I still remember him gassing Ben Smith.

Goat at 4.

Seems Etzebeth was taken down a peg or three today.

Totally outplayed by Scott Barrett.

Based on what….did you see Etzebeth catch their wing in open field….rip Savea back off the goal line….take multiple lineouts.

Yes ... I watched the match.

I saw him stopped in his tracks a few times. Driven back.

I saw a few of his lineout balls stolen. I suppose you'll blame the hooker's put in for that.

For someone supposedly the best 4 to have ever played the game he looked rather ordinary.

Oh and Mozart, Etzebeth had. Saves around the neck when he ripped him off the line.

He should have been penalised for a high tackle. Possibly carded.
