Jags vs Lions

Lions are having a hard time of it, a lot of calls going against them & Jags look very fluid.

 Jags is looking better this year. They had some dictionary issues last week otherwise they could easily have beaten the Stormers. 

 Lions are a gettin hurt real bad.

Too many of the Lions glamour boys have spent consecutive off-seasons chasing the yen in Japan. Compare that to NZ's insistence that their top fellas have an annua l 12 week break .

 Jags look much improved but Lions played some younger players so maybe things are not as bad as they seem.

 Lions were unsettled by a cheering crowd, SA teams are not used to that, considering how empty the stadiums are.

AR started some time ago the structuring of their rugby, using a variant of an old NZ way of playing. They are reaping the fruits by advancing.

In the meantime, SA was unable of any consistency, unable to provide any foresight.
Added to that, contrary to AR, SA is burdened by a declining currency (AR's currency is very strong, buys so much players prefer to stay at home than flying overseas), SA is hampered by the quota policy (as shown by yesterday's lions line up) etc

This gives games like this one, with AR team playing fluid, well thought rugby while lions play clueless, unsteady rugby.

The understrenth squad might be lined up to hide SA deficiencies, if you believe the stressed out lion's coach's face.
