.....on a stream of tries resulting in bonus points, including this one:
'The game seemed all but over as a contest three minutes into the second period as South African centre Francois Steyn sold a dummy and then cut inside William Whetton, finding a free channel to dive over next to the posts.'
Our professionals are playing overseas while we struggle to find test caliber players. And our best coach is helping French rugby while Bok rugby implodes. It's a strange, strange world we live in Master Jacques.

Montpellier beats one of the weakest teams in the competition - Brive - and Mozart gets into a drama queen act. This is extremely early in the competition and I do not have a record of results - bar the present log. Five games played and 2 losses place Montpellier third on the log at present. And the accolade is for Jake and Fat Fransie. That has been Mozart's downfall - he knows nothing about what he writes and then he tries to preach to us about it.

ou maaaikie and wee cc are far too dumb to appreciate a coach of Jake whites class.
face facts Jake's record speaks for itself but small oaks like ou maaaikie and wee cc try to crit the man and yet how good is their rugby ac*umen one has to ask. these intellectual rugby midgets criting a coach like jake is hilarious. clowns are appreciated here!

Beeno - I do not denigrate White as a coach. The ideal coach he is not - he has deficiencies such as Jake-Ball rugby and the lack of knowledge and proper inside in backline play, That is where he failed for the Sharks. What I do not like is the absolute belief by some that he is the answer to everything. I for one prefer him as a coach to Coetzee - who is a weaker version of White in virtually all respects. However, as a coach he is not really the answer - since he is too much of a pre-2008 coach, who has not adjusted his ideas to the present rugby laws and whenever his teams came up in final stages of any competition they flopped because of that. However, e will be an improvement on Coetzee - but as I already said I do not think he is the answer to our present rugby vows. As for Fat Fransie - White is welcome to him at Montpellier. He has been useless in Super Rugby and can do a lot worse for the Springboks.

If White was coaching the SA A team, they would not have lost to the Poms. As for the Boks White would instantly improve their fortunes.....and Frans is 10 times the rugby player Allrnde is.

Shall we go back to the last game De Allende played against Fat Fransie and the latter landed twice on his backside trying to tackle De Allende? Shall we go back to 2014 when Steyn caused ball possession 32 times - more than any other player in the whole of Super Rugby ever? Shall we go back to when you moaned about De Allende's defense in Super Rugby and it turned out that Fat Fransie's missed tackle ratio was worse than De Allende's. If White coached the SA "A" team the losses would have been much bigger so keep on wishing for things you cannot prove.

Positions on logs change all the time Tokkie....I was quoting from SARugby mag. Still I do note Montpellier have the best points differential among all the clubs and have conceded 5 less points a game than any other team. How the Boks could do with some of that defensive competence.

It entirely depends on the teams Montpeller played thus far. If they did not beat Brive it would be seriously defective. Let me remind you that Montpellier ended up in a play-off position last year and was badly beaten in that game. I agree about the issue of defensive competence - but what about attacking competence - something Jake is not really an expert on.

The owner of Montpellier made available a fortune to contract new players and White fielded a team with only 3 French players at one stage last year. There was NO possible comparison with the previous year because it was an entire; different player squad last year compared with the previous year. The two rugby world experts did not even realise that - but no real surprise on my part.

He at least knows how to win - even if he is another clueless backline coach in SA.

Typical deceitful and dumb response. Ou Maaik wasn't talking about how much money the club spent relative to other clubs, he was simply pointing out that the club spent a lot of money changing the team . . . which they did . . . unless our resident braggart thinks 24 million Euros is a trifling amount!

Game, set and match ....hahaha....the usual result. Down go Tokkie and Rooibandy.

By the way Mozart - are those the budgets for the various Top 14 player salary expenditure you are talking about? What do not get into your thick head is the players White brought into the team in 2015 and that the squad was changed completely in 2015 compared to the team in 2014. I am not overly impressed with your lack of understanding of the situation.
