i cant see how he would make the fiji team, he should have tried for the aussie sevens team.
fiji team right now is top team in 7s, no easy task when competing against SA and NZ who have the depth and resources to by all rights be ahead of them.
point is, who would u take out of the team just to make room for the grounded 49ers hayne plain???
had he tried to play for the aussies, it would have left the door open for the wallabies, so i think ur right and going back to league is almost a certainty.
about paramatta though, watchin nrl 360, paul kent mentioned that part of the salary cap breach was cos of hayne.
its also not uncommon for clubs to keep paying players even though they might be somewhere elsee, kind of like the whole sandow thing, so is hayne still in their books???
if hayne does go back to paramatta, then paramatta would have to send some more current players to join peats, lolz. hayne would be too good to turn away and eels do have first crack at him.
hayne, florean, radradra, jenning, pretty mean line up of superstars right there.

would be easier making the 7s OZ team IMO than the fiji team. oz needs him, fiji dosent.
had he inquired, im sure the ARU would have loved to have had his services, had the ARU secured it and hayne only ended up half as good as folau, the investment would have paid itself off twice over.
manager should be fired, but prob more an indication hes returning to league then anything else.
haynes connection to fiji and their national league team isnt that special, he only played for them cos he didnt make the aussie team. not saying he didnt enjoy his time there, but if it really meant that much to him, he still would have been there.
unlike league though, once he goes fiji, he can never go back.
all this makes me doubt his commitment to the NFL and IMO it was really only money he was after, not the challenge BS he conned everyone into believing.
dont know who has enough money to accommodate him, but if parra dosent clean out more players to make room, then he should try to get into a team that will get him a premiership before heading to the UK to get the almighty $$$.

If I look at it from the view that it might bring the Fijians back towards the pack a bit then well done Jarrod !But I doubt he would get a run on in any important games ,and what of the poor dude he displaces ?
