Some oaks vastly underrated Jessie Kriel. Maybe this clip will give them a better perspective!

All his attacking highlights was when he was still young When Am took over from him at 13, he had to live off scraps and never looked convincing with ball in hand which is understandable when you living off scraps and playing with no security To his credit he had a good WC because I think once again he was confident knowing he had the security of playing without Am threatening his place

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha!

Embarrassing indeed . . . especially if you're the ignorant rugby noob who kept insisting we couldn't win a RWC with DDA and Kriel as the centres and then got a face full of egg when we did . . . but is too far up his own arse to admit he was wrong.

Yes, I can see why Moffie thinks this is an embarrassing thread.

LMAO!

A product of Underberg in the Southern Drakensberg where my cousins farm and a boa rder at my ol' school.

One of his best mates at school was a guy called Marcel Coetzee (no not the famous one) but also a rugby player that represented Germany (tier 3 rugby nation).

If only he still played like that….Jessica did work hard on defence and showed a couple of good touches in this WC…but AM has got the Midas Touch.

The three apologists convincing themselves Kriel is er….superhuman. Well here are his stats in the key 4 matches, Ireland, France, England and New Zealand.

Defenders beaten ..3

Clean breaks …zero

 Meters against England…zero

Clean breaks zero!!! That’s unbelievably  awful in four full matches. Zero meters against England, has that ever happened to a 13 before! Super human.. bwaaaaaaahahaha…. suck that up you embarrassing groupies..

You can't win a RWC with Alkende and Kriel at center. Bwahahahahahahahaha. Ou mozzz is losing his marbles. Seems to be getting worse as time goes by.MOZZZ should try Dr Peter McCullough's spiked protein detox. Could help this "thinking" process.

He defended brilliantly, set up a try beautifully and was solid throughout One would swear, Fickou, Marchant and Ione set the world alight at 13 in those matches Did they standout? No they fucking did’nt

So in the game against the Boks Fickou beat more defenders and made more clean breaks than Kriel did in 4 matches. So if Kriel is ‘super human’ I guess Fickou is a god!
Fools trying to defend the indefensible. Hell Kriel made 26 tackles and missed 6 for an 82% success ratio. The team for those matches made 610 out of 724 tackles for an average of 84%. He wasn’t even an average tackler.
Embarrassing hype swallowed up by gullible groupies

Ok Moz be honest with us - stuff the insignificant stats - did you walk away from the French game thinking Fickou stood out for you in fact did he standout at any point in the WC?

The only center who stood out in the WC was Bundi…my point is Kriel is suddenly the flavor of the day, and all he really did was take part in the rush. Hardly a skill of note. In every other regard he was at best bog ordinary,. This is just hype.

Wehe . . . Moffie wouldn't be able to pick Gael Fickou out of a three man line- up if the other candidates were the Incredible Hulk and Winnie-the-Pooh.

No one said Kriel stood out with ball in hand but he had a good WC mostly defensively, where he leads the defence - very significant role He was solid enough carrying when he did and set up a great try Kriel had a good WC and that’s a fact especially when you consider it was not a competition where centres stood out

Nonsense Dave the best two centres in rugby at the moment are Kerevi who dominated Dud and Fickou. Dud is robot and Am is a clever player, but more of a counter attacker.

Kriel may have have a decent WC...but he still looks like a Karen with too much Botox. Seriously, does this guy pluck his eyebrows?

Kriel is a wonderful runner and does well in our defensive structures.

He used to struggle when it comes to attacking decision making.

He battled to make the right choices when he was given space which is strange considering his attacking prowess.

Anyway, I like him... and he had an incredible world cup.

Good to have competition for Am!
