We definitely have the talent and in other positions to, like lock for example.

That in mind, why is Nico Janse V Rensburg, Du Preez twins, Jean Kleyn, Trevor, selected but don’t even get to play in B games.

If you pick them, at least give them the common decency to actually let them play…

I’m all for the du Preez twins being included as they are class acts, like Wilco Louw they should never have been omitted from the squad in the first place but they are 29 now so time is running out

As for lock, Rassie has a blind spot - the likes of Mostert, Orie, Kleyn, Janse v Rensburg, Moerat and Nortje should never have made it ahead of Jason Jenkins, Ruben v Heerden, Ruan Vermaak , Andre Smith and JD Schickerling

At least he is including Cobus Wiese and JF v Heerden in the camp

Ruben v Heerden made last years alignment camp and was on standby for last years end of year tour - this year he finds himself in the wilderness - I just don’t get it

How the fuck can he not make a group of 82 that have been invited to the alignment camp recently - same can be said of Ruan Vermaak, Schickerling and the Tsituka brothers

The mind boggles - but instead we see players that have hardly had a game like Bester, Renzo, Nico Steyn and Roche - how the fuck

Be careful Saffolk, soon you will find yourself in DB,s wrath, being labelled as a Hater:)

Its even harder to understand if you take in consideration the success Erasmus had, but still gets away with blatant mistakes.

He has also been lucky in the sense that the Eben,s, Stef,s and Mostert,s, never got badly injured, to put his back up selections under scrutiny.

Just imagine the good those extra caps would do with a Ruben V H, Ruan Vermaak….

Local hard working Rugby Players, that deserve it More than the selected ones.

Rassie definitely has a blind spot when it comes to locks - he seems to think there is merit in having a bunch of lightweights passing off as real locks

It pisses me off - we need new locks in the mould of Eben, Lood and RG - that is Jason Jenkins, Ruben v Heerden and Vermaak - it’s not Nortje and Janse v Rensburg

As for the Tsituka brothers - what more must they do? They must be so pissed off - I would not be surprised to see them or Ruben or Vermaak piss off overseas.

Ruben v Heerden returned to SA as did Jenkins with the hope of making the Bok side - Ruben has more than proved his worth and should have been rewarded. Over 120kg so adds grunt and is so damn good in the line outs

Sorry Dave, but Jurrenzo was completely invisible today and made so many mistakes today. Clearly another cape coloured that can can't play in the wet. He blue a complete 4 on 1 overlap when breaking out with a awful pass. Had it gone to hand, Hooker would have carved them up.

Then, he simply couldn't get the ball away or step around defenders.

The wet weather completely nullified him.

On the other hand, Hooker put in another huge shift.

Julius needs a few years.

Not a chance he gets selected ahead of Henco and others ahead of him right now.

In a game like today's, Henco finds a way to get involved and makes something happen. Whether is a smart counter ruck or turnover or powerful break, he finds a way to make an impact. And it's all about rugby IQ. I'll take a slightly less athletic player with high rugby IQ over a more athletic player with a lower rugby IQ every time.

Henco is outperforming Jurenzo, but Jurenzo is Talented and just because of one game, it will be premature to say he won’t make it or that he is a slow, small Bungler :)

I agree that Henco is ahead, but injury prone.

However, Julius also missed a bunch of tackles

HaHa Moz….Yes KC he did miss tackles, he must get himself out of this Funk that happened today…

Otherwise he will be on the out when it comes to actual Bok team selection…

Lets hope it’s once off…Henco hopefully can stay injury clean for some time to actually get selected.

Injury is what hindered him from being selected in 24 season for the Boks.

Fuck me there are some serious idiots on this site

So we have Julius being judged based on some offloads not going to hand in wet conditions

You twats are seriously pathetic

The guy has been simply awesome all season and one game where he hardly featured given the conditions and circumstances and suddenly he is slow small and shit

FUCK OFF you pathetic ignorant pricks

Jurenzo Julius is going to be a Bok great

How'd this age?

A year down the line and Hooker is in the stratosphere while JJ is exactly where he was, in ou Dawies dreams.

Any day now, ne ou Dawie?

Born in Namibia but schooled in SA and played for the Baby Boks for two years

Not sure of his citizenship, I think he is listed as a Saffa

Meanwhile, I think Nortje is the new incumbent. Rassie has found his man.

Elighten me, was Nortje our most successful lineout jumper this year?

Dave, your calls are failing.

JJ is nowhere...and it's a year later. Nortje has claimed the jersey. Wiese is the best 8 in world rugby. Roos isn't being selected. I could go on...

My one call, that of Ruan Venter, is materialising before our eyes.

Also, Nohamba will be selected any day now, right?

Stick with...

Nobdy can stick with you. The playrs like Wiese and even St Estehuizen are dolts with diminished skills, Wiese is not going to last long - he is not fitting in with the playing style Brown and Erasmus is promoting. Estrhuizen has more of a chance of being successful a a loosie than Wiese has.

Es terhuizen wa poor on Satirday and Wiese run strait to the first defender and routinely get tackled . He does not tie in with the S pring boks game plan of Erasmus and Brown - fact. He is too pace deficient for that.

Fact is that the Sharks performances are fine - their backline routinely cause them to lose matches,

I like Henco as center at 13 - a hell of a lot better than other competitors - on Sstuday Mills was the best SA 12 on display, He unfortunartely is too slim to be able to take the rough and tumble needed as a 12 - but he has ball sense and would beat Esterhuizen by 50 meter in a 100 meter race.

I don't recall Shark making some insane prediction/call that JJ should be included in the Boks immediately when he's barely good enough for URC rugby yet.
