Sedbergh are always in the top 5 of rugby schools in England

They are on tour in SA having beaten Bishops and the Paarl

Gim 2nd team in their first 2 games on tour

Grey Bloem won 36-3 after the halftime score was 29-3 - Grey effectively sent on their whole bench for the 2nd half

The gulf in class was next level - Grey squandered so many more scoring opportunities and poor Sedbergh never looked like penetrating the Grey defence

Sedbergh is celebrating their 500th year founded in 1525

Just saw half he first team of Oakdale They apparently was in the proccess of getting drivers licences When I got to t the Municipal Traffic Department office, They filled all the seats for people to be served and I thought maybe waiting for 2 hours to be attended to and wnt tos tand outside in the sun - to get away from the cold weaterwe are suffering from. Their were two school kids ouside as well - so they came to me and asked me what I needed done. I told them and they took me inside and said I must join the line of about 4 people to be attended to.

The Oakdale kids are know for being vey respectful and always vey helpful amd polite when in town. I think it was that characteristic why they are so good in sport and in their academic progress after matriculation.

.My nephew only have one son brne and brought up in Essex. In 2021 he came back to SA and boutgt a home in Still Bay because he waned his son to go to Oakdale and said in England - other than the top and very expensive top schools the children are out of control and druggies sell drugs at schools to children. So he came back to SA so he is abck in SA for the sole reason to ensure his sun gets top class education without the poblems and lack of respect and discipline he saw in Englnad High schools. is son is nt into rugby - he plays cricket in the school first team. He is ten off to Stellenbosch to get his univesity education.

I think my nephew will return to Englanmd where he still own two homes he is letting out at present in Essex. . .

Didn't read any of the posts on this thread but I'm gonna guess that you spotted about 20 future Springbok "greats" in that game, Dave?

And yes, I know, there were a couple of people in the crowd that could be greats too. You didn't see them touch ball but you recognised the magic in their eyes?

Am I right?

Oh I’m glad NSB firsts did well. I didn’t bother watching as I was only looking at my second cousin playing.
