A few surprises even for me, but unfortunately this one, again, debunks the anti-Bull committee.

Kirchner Analysis
As the inventor of the mozcroscope, I have some experience in this kind of focused reporting. And as I told you before, it only works if you are honest.
"04:02 - Pass to Habana in NZ 22, Bryan bumbles ball into touch"......should read:
04.02- "A shocking pass by Kirchner is spilled by Habana, blowing a certain try".
59.23 "Kirchner comes across but the angle was easily exploited as Smith dots down for a try"....should read
59.23 "Smith breaks into a wide gap where your fullback would normally patrol. Kirchner out of position makes a feeble, half hearted attempt to stop Smith, who scores"
Nobody is interested in correcting your editorial bias.
Ah, the anti-Bull, quite bold given the many thrashings I've dealt you before. Fact of the matter, Habana blew that try. This was a solid performance from Kirchner. On of the better displays by any fullback since Percy's days. You just cannot admit that you were wrong on Lambie, that's another layer to your bias. Hence the very dishonest and eschewed perceptions created by you.
Let just correct a few things here:-
04:02 - Hopeless pass to Habana - which was behind him and which he could not take.
18:18 - Totally out of position amongst the forewards - tried to tackle Hore - was bumped out of the way and was then taken out by another All Black player. Afterwards ambled back - but was nowhere where he should have been when Dagg scored a try. What was he doing amongst the forwards in any event?.
18:08 - Joined in tackle of Smith by another Springbok player - role peripheral
28:26 - Chased after Morne kick - cleanly taken by Dagg - did nt get near enough to do anything constructive.
41:15 - Joined backline - tackled by Smith (How did he get behind Smith? Meaningless garbage)
42:48 - Drop kick attempt - hopelessly short and wide and giving the All Blacks an easy chance to counter-attack.
59:23 - Out of position made no attempt to tackle Smith before he scored.
65"06 - Missed tackle of McCaw - but Coetzee tackled him from behind.
One incident not mentioned was where he was again out of position and could not field a kick down the line which went out in the Springbok's 22.
The other incidents did not ensure any beneficial outcomes - so not even worth watching.
Kirschner was hopelessly ineffective and constantly out of position - normally Pienaar did the cover to ensure that we gather the ball. Again - what was he doing amongst the forwards trying unsuccessfully tot tackle Hore. Incidentally Hore bumpoed him out of the way and he was taken out by another All Vlack afterwards. But then it was good he was not in the position to try and stop Dagg's try - after all he cannot tackle to save his life. Kirchner cannot pass a ball to save his life as well. I think a rating of 4 out of 10 was way too high ibnsofar as his performance is concerned.
I am amazed at your interpretation of events - if that is how you follow games and what happened - then you certainly need new glasses. It just did not happen as stated by you. Or you are trying to describe things that never happen as creditable to Kirchner. I say again - he was hopeless as a full back. No idea about positional play - cannot pass of which there is ample proof in both this test and th previous ones. When in the backline - he never passes the ball when tackled and the move died there and then. On Saturday he at least tried to pass the ball to Habana - but it was a hopelessly inaccurate pass and Habana at speed could not possibly catch the ball.
I'll be honest with you, I haven't and am not going to read that assessment. Shorter posts please. Furthermore, you haven't been right about anything yet. What next, you were at the game, so you know better? I call things as they are, plain and simple Mike. You come here with your agenda to back up another ridiculous fantasy which was conceived by hasty judgment and your patently clear anti-Bull stance.
Kirchner's positioning was very good, for the last try, you could maybe question his positioning. Other then that his tracking and working in tandem with Pienaar and the wings was very sharp. I don't expect you to understand these technical facets Mike, but I would encourage you to read up on them and watch the game again. This time slow the speed, it really does make all the difference. Until then, it was nice taking another scalp off you.
another crap performance by Kirchner. He cant tackle and his positional play is very poor. He should not even be in the team. Many fullbacks or even wings, would make at better 15.
Kirchner was very strong in the tackle. I can't image any other 15 in SA other than Aplon that could have made them. Lambie would have dragged, in typical fashion, as though he were a tail. It's been good to see Kirchner round out his game. Not the raw talent he was some years ago.
FB Kirchner 0/0 0 1/2/2 8 0 0 0 0 3/4 0/0 0 0/0
Dagg made 74 metres. Kirchner a paltry 8 metres....incredibly low for a fullback. But never mind he only missed three of his seven tackles.
Your account of this game is at best a fairy tale at worst a lie.
Does anyone else think the "Cat" works for SArugby.com??? I mean seriously, every single one of his opinions differs from everyone on here. It creates tons of traffic........
Nah, he just suffers from Bool Brain. The traffic generating effect is akin to a totally random event, like a typhoon, generating lots of TV traffic.
@reqcat,
"I'll be honest with you, I haven't and am not going to read that assessment. Shorter posts please. Furthermore, you haven't been right about anything "
Lol are you serious????? What kind of utter trollop and disease filled thoughts mumble between your ears because you take the cake.........bhwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I now have to say that you are "so predictable that your laughable"...hehehehe....man what a great comedy show you have been thus far!!!
I will try and help you out but I dont like my chances. The argument is not about the anti-Bull stance in anyway what so ever! It is about the ability as a player of Kirschner or shall we say the lack of ability.
What Kirschner does is the basics to a basic level required for Super XV . He is at best a bench warmer for our test team but even then I doubt he would add value as he doesn't provide a key element as a test player and that is "IMPACT". - look through 'jaundice eyeballs' like you do all the time and you start to get the reason why posters on here love aiming their loaded guns straight at your head as you actually provide all the ammo to shoot your ownself.....lol
No amount of stats or your bleating will make him any better than what he. He is not the test fullback we need. Have you not heard of that term "lies, damn lies"....It basically states you can pretty up or dumb down anything you want, based purely on numbers and information. So go ahead do try your best....lol
What it doesnt describe is the key factors that are entwined amongst the detail which you foolhardily miss out on many occasions when you post - funny how you annd your sister Beentwat have the same problems....hmmmmmm makes me wonder whats going on between you two????
In defence of Kirschner, Its not his fault that he is in the team playing the way he does after all if he keeps getting picked. So Mr HM" knock knock any one home".
The fact that we have a player whom in Lambie that has better capabilities sitting on the bench also riles up many SA including Bulls supporters. Even our competitors talk up our own players and probably are happy that we have a coach that persists with his selections and is happy with the status quo and accepting mediocrity. Afterall that is what has been delivered thus far isnt it?
Anyway just off the topic of Kirschner for a bit. HM has said all along that quote" we want to win all our games" or something to that degree. We have in 7 games lost 2 drawn 2 won 3. Thats less than a 50% success rate for SA if you consider a draw a failiure. We then have a very passionate driven and a focused game against the AB's but we still lose....HM goes on file to say that we dominated the game for 50 minutes (FFS I cant ever remember SA winning a test against the AB's with a 50 minute effort) WTF!!!
All of a sudden the Boks are well on track again and our gameplan was right says HM. Since when has losing two straight and drawing one been on track. We talk about the fact that we do have all these reserves of injured players that we can draw on when they return - but keep this in mind gentlemen, even when they where around and availble our record didn't improve. However I still wnt Bissie and JP back ASAP please
What is really happening with our national team and are we falling into another false dawn? Why the heck does it take us to meet the AB's for our team to stand up and play with passion and agression? Lets be brutally honest the AB's had an average game bought about by the intensity and passion we bought to the field "not the gameplan we played" yet they still beat us. We continued to kick, our backline continued to be static and our ability to convert opportunities failed on the most epic of scales against our greatest foe - and you hear us bleating about calling them chokers for many years.....really?
I get concerned that as soon as we show some successes in our current gameplan we hear HM reverting immediately to his 'modus operandi' of "we are on track" and there is "something special brewing" in this current squad....again really??? Ok HM we will watch but remember succes is judged on winning competitions and not just home games.
Put the Rugby Championship in the cabinet - take the Freedom cup back from NZ and the Mandela cup from OZ and show us what "something special" is all about. Go the the Northern Hemisphere and go unbeaten. Afterall that is what we need to see if you start quoting or boasting these types of statements of 'cart before the horse'.
We can go on all day that we should have won because we missed all our kicks....Bad luck SA thats the game and how its played and you dont get many chances against the AB's let alone 2 try scoring bungles and seven missed kicks. That about sums up why we are currently still 3rd and why we dont handle pressure or have the composure yet to challenge the AB's for the being the best.
I will reserve my thoughts after the return match now that I have had a chance to sit down and watch the game again a couple of times. Interesting what you pick up a second or third time around, even more interesting when you watch what individual playersre doing or not doing.
another poor performance from krichner, followed up by a poor blogging performance from requiscat. poor performances from both are the only consistent thing they do.
The Cat
I asked you a simple question - which you obviously cannot answer properly. What was Kirechner doing amongst he forwards - when he tried and failed to tackle Hore? Please answer that one. Just one more statement:-
The following actually cost us dearly through potential scores, bad defence and penalties conceded:-
Kirchner - Out of position and atrocious pass - 19 points
Greyling - Penalties and handling error - 13 points
Morne - Missed conversions - 11 Points
That makes Kirchner the real scoundril responsible for the loss - even Greyling did not give away as many points as he did. Morne was not as bad as the other 2 if the above is taken into account. The bad effects of Greylings yellow card probably bring him in line with Kirchner's atrocious performance. Both minus 19 efforts.
Thinking about it - that means both should get 0 points out of 10 for performance.
RADTAD
Very good post - just one observation. The Springboks dominated for 50 minutes and then disaster struck - Greyling came on and started playing for New Zealand. Then he went off for 10 minutes - came back on and immediately started his New Zealand campaign again. We therefore had 7 forwards during the last 30 minutes against the 9 of New Zealand for 20 minutes of the game and 8 for the other ten minutes. Domination just not possible under such circumstances..
Lol mike......Fair enough - never mind I doubt he will ever wear the green jersey again - well I hope not because his reputation is now on the lips of every ref
