looks like mills going in with the knee there again hey mate
Kiwi refs.... Seriously...!
Hey hakwa have you a picture of the bulle winning score against the canes. That would be a good illustration of what happens when we have a straight ref. Bwahahhahahahahaha
Muncher Paddy was also fired I believe or asked to go. They all knew what happened and BL and paddy were out.
Officials frustrate Rennie May 04,2013 Written by: SARugby.com Editor
Chiefs boss Dave Rennie has called for greater "common sense" from the TMO after his side's win over the Rebels on Friday.
A close-run affair saw the Chiefs edge home in a 39-33 victory as the Rebels surged late on, with Rennie left questioning TMO Steve Leszczynski who ruled out a late try for Gareth Anscombe.
With inconclusive footage over a knock-on in the build-up to Anscombe's attempted score seeing the try ruled out, Rennie was left frustrated after the Rebels had been awarded a dubious score of their own minutes earlier when James O'Connor combined with Kurtley Beale.
"I think the quality of the person sitting in the chair's important and you have a feel for the game and they need to have some common sense around some of their decisions," said Rennie to Radio Sport.
"It feels like they're trying to work out how they can not give that try as opposed to the other way around.
"I struggled to see faults with Gareth's last try and there were a couple of other dodgy decisions earlier on. Our issues are ours. We've got a few things to sort out from a playing point of view but they (TMO decisions) could have such a massive bearing on the game."
Refs unfortunately are deciding too many games and the situation is not satisfactory. There must be ruthless review of refs.TMO, line judges etc.
Also too many rules allow a biased ref to get away with too much.
Oh right, let's be ruthless then. Let's dump the best referees in the word and replace them with the 2nd grade refs who are currently on a tier below them. That makes sense. Why didn't we think of this before?
Baboon-ou, I don't know how many times you need to be told the same thing before it penetrates your immensely thick skull, but refs are not perfect and no ref is going to get every decision right. The current IRB panel of referees are the best and most qualified people in the world to referee rugby matches and this is as good as it gets. If that's not good enough for you, go find some other sport to follow. Seriously.
What you're doing with all this pathetically ignorant ref-bashing is the equivalent of saying that Usain Bolt's 100m times aren't good enough for you, demanding that someone breaks the 8 second barrier and if none of the world's top sprinters do it immediately, we'll be "ruthless" and start replacing them with the slower guys who don't even get to the finals . . . and expecting one of the slower plodders to run the 100m in under 8 seconds. That's pretty much the same thing you're expecting of lesser qualified rugby referees.
rooitwit dont forget to renew your Bryce Lawrence fan club membership. Bwahahahahahaha
Sorry rooi but it is not good enough and more must be done.
I see the kiws are trying to create a diversion re the Oz TMO's. I suppsoe Oz decided to retaliate?
Anyhow, as honest saffas we find it all a bit sad that we need to discuss refs as much as we do but something has to be done to clean up kiws refereeing. They are of course very resistant to this as there would be dire consequences results wise for their wee teams.
@redsneck,
"Just look at that all important stat of Aussie dominance over kiwi sXV opponents in the last season and a half"
ever since this last comment of urs on this thread, ur absence has been speaking volumes, dont be too embarresed, i wouldnt wnat to hang around a thread where i looked like a complete clown whose post were completely being decimated.
but as u have such a hard on for that record u love so much, i thought i would give u an update as i know just cos u dont reply, dosent mean u dont read them, :o)
in the last year and a half there have been 33 matches between NZ and OZ super rugby franchises, NZ have won 18, OZ have won 15.
u should just tapout before u pass out, :o)
saSUE what are the stats this super 15. Last year has come and gone with the Mighty Stormers topping the log as you may recall. But lets leave last year behing and focus on this year. Oz are pumping the kiwi sides and stainlarger's avatar is the wrong way round.
Thanks
@beeno1 aka storminged,
sorry buddy, but its rude to butt in on other peoples converstation, if redsman wants know the record between the NZers and OZ for the last year and a half, then he has every right to and u will just have to deal with it.
but in regards to ur question,,,
"saSUE what are the stats this super 15."
in 2013 there have been 15 matches between NZ and SA super rugby franchises, NZ have won 9, SA have won 6
2 more wins to NZ and we will have won over 50% of the matches between our countries (again) and im positive the highlanders will ensure it reaches 10 this week, :o)
Hasbeeno, now that your claiming that everything in the past doesn't matter, I presume you won't bring up the RWC 2011 or the 2012 Dunedin test again?
Just asking!
Moooo la nice try but we are referring to a specific subject here and it involves how OZ are doing versus kiwi sides this year - ie current Super 15 form. why go back to what happened last year. We are looking at the current status.
@beeno1 aka storminged,
buddy ol pal, this is why u have to actually know what ur talking about in order to be taken seriously, o_O
while the record between OZ & NZ for the last year and a half is not important to u, it is important to redsneck hence him mentioing it ok???
i hope ur not saying that redsneck dosent have a say in the matter. cos that would not be fair at all, so i say leave redsneck alone and if he wants to chat with me about the NZ/OZ record for the last year and a half, then that is our right, :o)
BTW, would u care to comment on the NZ/SA record for 2013??? i mean u asked about it, and ow u have nothing to say??? sheesh, but i dont blame u bro, not a very pretty picture at all, -_o
