Yes, it is a sad state of affairs to see how Lambie is suffering from the injuries.
I often wonder whether it has anything to do with being pushed into international rugby at a young age when physically the guy was not as developed and seasoned as the guys facing him.
Many young players of promise appear to fall flat or sustain major injuries when pushed too soon and hard into the physical challenges of international rugby.
After watching the Sharks and Bosch this weekend I trust that this does not happen to this young man. Sure he is talented but time is on his side so do not rush him.
Any thoughts on this?

Bosch on Saturday 7 tackles attempted 3 tackles made.....I know the Cheetahs say defence is secondary....but you can't survive at 10 these days if you can't tackle. He is very small.

Morne had the same kind of stats or even much worse and you said nothing about his tackling.   So what else is new?

Are you really dumb to see your quote does not fit you like a glove - keep it for yourself.  You need it badly since in your case prejudice rules,

A defensive liability was but one of many other issues that Morne had to contend with. He was a coward and avoided contact as best he could.

Sadly the man was born without the ability to read a game. That's probably why he kicked everything away ... and he couldn't even do that properly. I remember hiow he cost us the Ozzie test a few years back.

Simply useless.

He use to come off the field with every hair still in place.

Hell of a blow to Lambie and SA rugby. The best 10 we have ... out again. It's perhaps time he considers hanging up his boots and leaving our fate to the likes of the panic striken Jantjies.

Well, as if you give a fck ... .. last year you were willing & wanting the Boks to lose every test they played. Nothing's changed now, has it ?

At 5'11"..small? He's the same height as Dan Carter but a lot lighter at 80Kgs. The lad could easily bulk up, these days it's QED.

That's true, Blobbie.

I'm hoping they plummet to 10th by years end ... or worse. They're currently 7th. A mere 3 spots would see them hit double figures.

Throw in an incompetent racist coach and suddenly 10th spot looks doable. Coetzee has the necessary skills to achieve this.

Still having said that, it's sad to see a talent like Lambie injured so often. He's one of a handful of talented players that Coetzee would even consider. The rest of the side is made up of poor selection ...  across the colour bar.

Still deep within my soul somewhere I harbour the tinniest of hope that things would come right for the Goats.

Guess it's cause I'm so patriotic.

I'm hoping they plummet to 10th by years end...

And what exactly will that achieve?
A change in coach? He'll be long gone before then...IMO
A change in SARU? Not until Hell freezes over.
What you fail to understand is that it's not Quotas that has sunk Bok rugby....it's not SARU that has sunk Bok rugby. Yes, they have contributed but the single biggest cause in the decline of Bok rugby are the useless coaches or Pretenders as I like to call them, who were in charge of franchises and clubs for years. They were absolutely clueless and they were kept in charge by equally clueless administrators.
Hey helllooo... suddenly the Stormers are scoring tries.....so are the Sharks...but the Bulls are no different to last year or the year before.....care to wonder why?
It's not that difficult a question.....hey presto.....they both have new coaches or assistant coaches.
Just to name one utterly useless coach...Ludecke......how long was he at the Lions?...who kept him on??
Gary Gold at the Sharks....anyone care to remember that Cretin?
Jirre Man the list continues...
And then the Bulls take on Ludecke....why?....does it look like they knew what they were dong Hmmm?
And then for how long was he there?
Ai...the damage....Fc## ...there was more damage done all-round the park than when that Tsunami hit Japan. They decimated our best talent.
You don't have to be a brain surgeon to understand why we're in this horrendous mess.
And sure Coetzee is useless and he's there because of his colour but he is no different than anyone of the pretenders who have aided and abetted the decline of Bok rugby.
The fools at SARU now understand they've made a bad choice.

It's surely not that difficult to figure out what would happen if we were to plummet to 10th and beyond ... ???

It would empty our stadiums and hurt those in charge financially. It could even spill over to top tier nations refusing tours to our country and declining our lowly ranked bunch of palookas into theirs.

How often have you heard of Japan playing against the Poms in London? Why is that?

It would force the Rugby authorities to rethink their current racist policies.

Money talks loudest in the end.

There is a lot wrong with SA rugby. Quotas, mismanagement, coaches like Coetzee, Ludeke and Gold, racism ... the list goes on and on.

Coetzee has agreed to selecting players of colour. It's part of why he was signed up. The problem is that he doesn't even know who the talented boys of colour are. He selects chumps like Kolisi and Jantjies and leaves out guys like Marutllule.

He is incompetent ... yet has been given an extended run as coach. Why? He's not white ... that's why.

You are contradicting yourself. "it's not Quotas that has sunk Bok rugby" ... "And sure Coetzee is useless and he's there because of his colour" ...

In other words it's the quota and all that comes with it that's hurt our beloved Bok. All we want is to have teams and coaches selected on merit. All skilled players are welcome to contest for positions.

Jones made himself available. He was turned down. Why? Because he wasn't prepared to sign up for forced race based selections. I do not regard him as a"pretender" ... do you??

"The fools at SARU now understand they've made a bad choice" ... they've made a lot of bad choices all based on race ... and it's time that we the public ... the fan lets them know that we will no longer put up with it.

That is why I support the decline of the Boks.

Make sense now?

Debating with you is like trying to have a serious conversation with a 2 year old ... because at that very moment the most important thing to him in all the world is geting that damn booger out his nose ... and it's pointless repeating myself cause before long his total attenrtion is focused on the other nostril.
