My wish is to get our overall record back to 50%.

At the moment, we're sitting on about 43%

It all went south for us when Sean Fitzpatrick and his team came here in 1996 (I think)... between then and 2011 we hardly won a game against them.

Needless to say, the AB's from 15 years ago held an aura second to none. Not like the current bunch of poofs.

We also slipped considerably when the quota played a part in our rugby - thank fuck we have moved on from that shit

Its all merit now - the way it should be - love it

We also need to make sure we beat Ireland every time we play them from now on - that current record needs to change

Think of what we went through to find enough dark players worthy of selection...

And Jantjies did at one point, look like he'd offer something... until he took drugs, got bust banging Zinat Simjee (who is HAAAAWT by the way) and lied about it, fought on an airplane, got bust taking drugs again, took steroids, got divorced and threatened to expose players.

By Dweba I meant he is very current and not part of the group I would consider as quotas

I like Dweba - very physical. He got a poor rap because of his line out throwing. I can’t define a player by one aspect of his play. Same happened with Manie and his goal kicking

To Dweba’s credit his line out throwing was fine for the Stormers

I was a huge fan of Jantjies - creative class act

The worst part was between 2012 and 2017 in that period the Springboks played 10 tests against the AB's and won only 1 - two we lost in recod levels - the frst one 57-0 and the econd one 57.15. Conslusion - we had shit coaches in that period,

I agree with Chippo in his argument about the quota system. Erasmus abolished it and the result was seen suince 2018. All players should always be selected on merit and not according to selection of quotas as was the case between 1996 and 2017. All the coaches ended being eliminated as a result of losses that should have been prevented if the quota system was not followed by the coaches concerned - White, De Villiers and Meyer last 4 years and the other 3 had less then 3 ears as coaches as coaches.

But the quota system also allowed for fewer quota playeras coming through on that level and with the exception of the Bulls under White the teams look more multi-racial than before,
