Urinal, Neanderthall and now Bricy have made the brilliant discovery that they can screw up a string. Bricy has the gall to screw up the most viewed string in recent memory, just takes that decision on himself. ............. Like lemmings leaping off the cliff they indulge themselves. But then when some poster responds and nails their little pearl of wisdom they throw a hissyfit. It's spiteful, arrogant....it will destroy the Board they say. But who started us off in that direction? ........... Here's the reality. Ed, the site owner left my political post in the top section while eliminating duplicates. He never missed it.....it was deliberate. Message ....he wont be our nanny. We have to figure out how to manage our own activities. Message ....the Board sections are not that important to him. .............. So let me be clear. I intend to mostly post rugby up top. But when I come across a topic of interest in other sports, or a topic that bears on rugby by implication......I will post it on top. I'm happy to post political and other social stuff below as long as doesn't pertain to Board interaction or posters. If it bears on how we use the site I will post it above. .......... But whetever I post I expect other posters will ignore the post if it doesn't interest them....not sabotage it. If they do I will respond in kind .....and if we have that as a general practice the Board will be worse off. ............. Have the decency to let posters have their say. That's how these Boards have operated for 17 years and up till now this has been the most free Board of all, and the most enjoyable.

One thing that everyone has in common is rugby.
So I think the topic section should be primarily rugby- and it will be better for attracting new posters to see all the rugby stuff at the tip.
The occasional post about something non-rugby is fine, but I think more people are starting to use the other two sections. So posting non-rugby stuff in these areas will get still some interest.
It would be better to have long lists of rugby only threads- so that someone can see if a post has already been created. The duplicate postings of the same article can be annoying- as people have to duplicate their own comments on to this duplicate post.
The controversial non-rugby stuff is certainly best for the Beeno1 section. This is out of the way of the two sports areas- and only someone who has the interest will scroll down to the bottom oft the page. This means people are not trying to force their own views onto others.
Stuff that is non-rugby and gets little to no responses is wasting space in the top section

Oh shut the f#ck up Moffie, you sad and pathetic little man.
You and Sonny Bill are the only ones screwing up margins and you and the spammers are the only people posting spam, so really, take your sanctimonious posturing and shove it firmly up your pale wrinkled arse.
No-one gives a flying toss what you plan on posting and where you intend posting it, just grow up and stop trying to screw the board up for those of us who are here for rugby.
Is that clear? Yes? Then stop droning on and on about this stupid and boring subject and stop pretending the problem is with anyone other than you, the Sonny Bill/Dumb Ass complex and the people trying to sell stuff with their spam.
Tw@t!

Poorly educated hahahahaha....that coming from a chap who hasn't even studied basic calculus is a real laugh. PhD from one of the world's top business schools vs BA from the local college. You make me laugh Lush. Console yourself, have a little morning pop.

According to this article the Lemmings suicide thing is a myth, much like the topic of where we post what. Seems to me that we are generally in agreement that the weigh (sic) it is now is fine.
Reminder to self, check spelling & grammar before pushing the enter key.

LMAO @ JW!
Typical and expected response from the puffed up old toad . . . anyone who didn't study calculus is a fool!
What a pompous jerk . . . not to mention ignorant about the ways of the world!
Tell you what, Moffie, I'll teach you a little something . . . the difference between ignorance and stupidity.
Ignorance is not knowing the difference between the words "phased" and "fazed".
Stupidity is not knowing the difference but still having the gall to lecture someone else who mixed up "slight" and "sleight".
Did you get that, you tedious old fart? Did it sink in?
LMAO . . . FY!

Stupidity Urinal is not being able to differentiate X cubed. Not knowing why the Rand goes down when the Fed puts up interest rates. Not knowing what contingent liabilities are. Thinking bitcoin is a penny. Not knowing whether Petrus 1990 is better than Haut Brion 89. Losing at chess to Denny The world for you Urinal is opaque. You are trying desperately to fight above your weight group and losing.

I think Shark has a good point...discretion, and not abuse...I believe it's those who that overplay their liberties (like everything else in life) spoil it for others. That's why we lose decent well balanced posters like Biltong Bek, Oi Matey, Canada Rugby, Sasuke, Ntanga, Beks and Tomas Lavanini

Actually you are one of the major off-rugby posters Chabal.....firstly. Secondly we didn't lose those posters because of overplaying liberties......Biltong Bek left because there were disagreements on rugby, Matey is still here, Canada Rugby who knows ...I can't remember him, Sasuke comes and goes depending on what's happening in his life, Ntanga I don't recall either, Becs only posted here to support Dave and Tomas never posted here, the fake Ole Cruz was outed by poi-e. Please, and I ask this sincerely, keep your facts straight. I have no beef with you, but you do come up with some utter rot from time to time

However, Mozart, many a true word said in jest...there is a possibility that all your assumptions (or presumptions) are all wrong....there is an element of ridicle in all what I say... but it is possible that you are wrong...no I'm not naieve but sometimes truth is stranger than fiction and the opposite also can be true...science and mathematics are also not perfect.

PS For your eyes only, and maybe Mike's too (both of you I like in different ways and yes you are pompous and ill-mannered sometimes and Mike can be rude...but he has never been rude to me and shows respect).

This is a treat if you like opera...a clip of the best...Verdi done by the genius film maker...Zeffirelli,an evenings entertainment...you will never find better than this...my wife found it on a Russian blog...it won't be around for long.

Please pay attention on ballet dancers - they are married couple of world stars - Russians - Ekaterina Maksimova & Vladimir Vasilyev. This movie considered still the best film opera, the best staged. Beautifu l scenery and light and excellent performance and acting.

Mozart please relax with your good lady and Mike too...if you are a genuine classical music lover...you will be over the moon with the Verdi clip I sent you...the rest I do not think so...it's too highbrow for them but it's the best you can ever see.

Poohie never proved anything...a twitter...or facebook...I believe Tomas, Ole Cruz was genuine...he was very young then (19-20)...a naive Latin, playing as a foreigner his rugby in at the Chiefs academy in NZ with good breeding and manners and youthfully enthuisiastic...certainly not at the vulgar eating emporium of Poohie and his gang...ofcourse as an aspirant young player, who was cross examined by the drift wood cynics here he finally realised, that discretion is better part of valour and declined to comment further preferring this than argue with a bunch of undiscerning clowns with little between the ears and low intelligence.

He was genuine, believe me but thank goodness he pulled out and ofcourse had nothing to prove to the mob. He had a reputation and future to maintain and realised he had no time with glib peanut gallery posters that very little depth or are very shallow knowledge about the game.

Most of you are very poor at understanding psychology. Of course he denied it.

Yes, but not just any poster . . . we're talking about the small-minded equivalent of a class monitor who called another poster an ignoramus when he did exactly the same thing . . . the same poorly-educated old fart who thinks "eschewed" is a big word that only he understands.

Wehe . . . bet the pompous old fool is gritting his "teath" and getting all "phased" because he showed himself up to the hypocrite we all know he is!
