How does the TMO not see this either? It's literally the best view of the scrum on could have and probably the only one he should be watching.
I think I called Genge also in on the angle on the live commentary towards the end of the game. So much micromanagement in the game now and yet the controversy remains.
I was noticing it all game long. But apparently the people who are paid to see these things can't.
Genge was literally sideways in one scrum. I understand in the heat of the battle the ref may miss a few things, there are so many rules. But surely the TMO could see what we see and warn him to watch for that infringement the next time.

One thing is for sure, AI could already ref a top down view of a scrum.
But let's think about it a little. What view do you guys think the TMO is watching when there is scrum?
For me, it has to be the top down. It's the one view where they are able to check for alignment very easily.
And if he is looking at that view, how does he miss stuff like above?
