Farrell is the type of flyhalf you like - slow in decision-making and execution.   In New Zealand you need players with pace - most of your loosies have none.   Ypu put in Itoje as a open-sider - he plays at lock most of the time so he is seriously deficient in the open-side posi tion.   

 Actually I put Itoje at 6.....which is blindside in the NH noob. You also have two 12s....Zebo a wing who was horribly exposed by North yesterday, Stampkar who was totally outplayed by Warburton and subbed early, Ford who is a defensive liability and not half the player Farrell is....and Healy who is now on the Irish bench. Nice one.

 Heavily outplayed in what - sure Warburton made a lot of tackles - but that was all.   He made a lot of tackles, but that was all.

And what did Stampkar do...one run. Bumped over Moneypenny , but was still brought to the deck by the tackle 15 metres from the line. Why? Because instead of stepping the little fellow with oodles of space to do so....he was Stampkar, and decided to barge him out the way. But he was unable to ride the tackle He was subbed because that run aside....he did nothing.

Ab early sub is before halftime, at halftime  or between minutes 41 and 50.  After minute 60 it always is a late sub.    

With the Irish desperate to win the game they certainly wouldn't have brought on O'Mahony if Stampkar looked like he was effective...that's an early sub case closed.
