Three Lions will be returning home from their tour.
Harold Vorster has a knee injury, Fabian Booysen has an injury to his eyelid while Lionel Mapoe is returning to be at the birth of his. No loose forward is being sent to cover Booysen but centre Jacques Nel will join the squad to bolster the depleted centre ranks.
Talking of injuries, does anyone know how serious Robert du Preez's knee injury was? Looking at the way he limped off I'm guessing he won't be back anytime soon.

The loss of Vorster is a major problem for the Lions - the other two losses are not as important.
There has nothing being heard about Robert du Preez yet - but his loss for any period will be a major one for the Stormers since Coleman is a poor flyhalf and Jean-Luc du Plessis has no experience on Super Rugby level.

Vorster is the real deal.

Thankfully the Lions still have Mnisi at 12 and Rohan Janse v/Rensburg to call on at 13

Rubbish, Mnisi has been fantastic and v/Rensburg was outstanding in the CC.....I'd have v/Rensburg over Mapoe any day......Vortser is a 13, not a 12......Mnisi is the best of the Lions 12's

Vorster can play both center positions as effectively as the other to be fair.

Nope he cant, he is better suited to 13, he is a finisher not a creator......just like Serf is not a 13 and only a 12
