Great move by Kwagga. Kriel cracks on the pace and leaves defence of Sharks for dead and the good Dr Moz the colour of a Lions jer sey hahahahahhahahaha

Good game, both teams played well. Yes, perhaps one or two decisions went against the sharks & this high tackle thing is getting a bit out of hand.

Well played Lions, hard luck Sharks.
Great game!
There's been a lot of moaning and groaning on this site for the last few weeks about the lack of test class flyhalves in this country, well, I say why not try the 19 year old with electric pace, good reading of the game and a claim to being the best goalkicker in the world today?
I don't think it's an exaggeration to say Curwin Bosch would have almost single-handedly won this game for the Sharks but for a few inches when his drop kick hit the upright instead of going over.

Rooitwit, Robert Du Preez has also been playing very well.  He is much more physical and better on defence. But Bosch is the better kicker. on attack not too much difference.
One would believe a decent coach could but a good Bok side on the park.
Sharks have made giant strides. They have a huge pack which will peak later on.

Take away the kicking and Bosch had a perfectly ordinary game.....but the kicking was spectacular......riight up to that last kick that had to go into touch.

It takes a SA team to make another look good.

The game was intense, it is a given. Beside that, the handling was at best average, turn overs numerous (and not taken advantage of as it can be expected), the variety in attack low.

Sometimes it does look as if you are totally bipolar and sometimes it seems there are even three of you.
Get this one out of its cage more.

ON yesterday's performances - Curwin Bosch looks the prospect.  I would like however to see his performance against some of the hard-hitting quick and heave loosies of the Kiwis - I like what I see but I am not yet convinced that he is the answer (yet).

Bosch at this stage is not much better than Jantjies used to be and we saw again yesterday how the latter goes to pieces when under pressure.   I want to caution members that this guy only had three Super  Rugby starting at flyhalf and I will become more interested to see how he plays later in the series.
I agree he looks promising so lets hope for the best.
By the way I think what Matfield said as referred to above relates more to the Stormers game than the Lions-Sharks game.
I was disappointed in Van Rensburg  - too many knock-ons and ball possession losses.   On the day Du Plessis was streets ahead of him.   I like clever players that read games properly and Du Plessis is definitely in that category.
