The whole question is about knowing how the NZ side copes with the fatigue imposed by the long travel and the altitude.
They are superior to that SA boosted side.

The ref call now. It is turning better every minute. SAns will still whine that world of rugby want them to lose.

SA side did not travel for a capital game. It is a semi final right now, not a group game.

As to changing tune, it is history in the making. No reason to change, all reason to keep pointing out that was foretold is unfolding right before the eyes.

Trad, first time in years the shoe is on the other foot. If you are S African, you are a trator. If you're not a Saffer, suck it up d!ckhead...as Jantjies score!

First time the shoe is on another foot... Been years SA is the most favoured nation in rugby.

SA rugby is being held up by the world of rugby.

As to sucking it up, there is nothing to suck it up. If the SA side had been superior and winning without banking on all the favours they were presented to on a silver tray, there would be something to correct.

At the moment, it is happening just as foretold. It is time to rejoice. The things are falling together as announced.
People unhappy with that should bear wiith it.

Game is over. The train now stops to the other NZ side's station.
The NZ side is warned more than the one everything will be done to get the SA side to win.

Let see how they cope with the problem. This NZ side has a good hand in the first half and was not clinical enough to win against the odds.

Jantjies silences the critics.....his one crucial error for the early Canes try came from an blindside hit. Lots of physical courage in that game. .. Ross Cronje as noted by Moz had a great. Game and gets the MOM.

A side full of quota players. It was determined that a SA side had to go to the finals in order to keep interest to super rugby and here goes the result, a campaign designed to bring a SA side to the finals. From the list of encounters to the hosting of capital games.

Every single SA player who entered the field on this day was risen above their station by the demand of having a SA side in the finals. Nothing else. They do not go to the finals on merit, because they deserve it on their rugby skills.

Quota players. All of them.

Congrats to the Lions, commiserations to the Canes. Looked like the Canes were well on the way to winning this but they lost their edge towards the end of the second half.

Doing that flight and playing at altitude is a monster ask......as it will be for the Saders. Some great handling by the Canes off turnover ball, but it was the intensity difference that got them ahead, and cost them later in the game.

Yup, they ran out of gas.
Jantjies seemed to play o.k. and the Canes defense was good and in your face in the first half and he didn't make any really bad errors.
