It is funny that my forecast is that the NZ spring is coming to an end this weekend and I think only the Highlanders had a reasonable chance to beat the Force with ease. My forecast for the rest of the games are as follows:-
Lions vs Crusaders
Even with the lots of balls they got and the stupid game plan used by the Sharks - the Crusaders won the match against the Sharks narrowly. They will not have that privilege on Friday and I give them only a minor chance of beating the Lions. I would not be surprised if the Lions at home beats them by more than 10 points.
Blues vs Jaguars
The Blues looked good in their first game and then collapsed in a heap. The Jaguars should win this game with ease. Despite the long distance travelled - the Jaguaras will be too good for the Blues and a win in excess of 10 points is highly likely.
Brumbies vs Chiefs
This is definitely too high a mountain for the Chiefs to climb. There forwards are just too weak to compete. An easy win by the Brumbies will be inevitable.
Kings vs Sunwolves
I was really surprised by the fact that the Kings fairly easily scored tries against the NZ teams they played recently. Despite that I believe that the Sunwolves would be too strong for the Kings and they are going to lose this game by a wide margin.
Waratahs vs Rebels
The Waratahs is in trouble on the log and they are going to take the Rebels to the cleaners,

Well Mikey you may well score 100% losing that is a 100% losing prediction .I shall enjoy having a wee laugh at this next week .Apart from the Force game of course .You and your forwards nonsense.

As I said elsewhere - I am normally correct with my predictions and am prepared to lay a bet about the four other games involving NZ teams - all losers bar the Highlanders. If you predict otherwise you will lose badly.

I didn't see this thread,...... mike, man, don't you think you are a little bit biased against the kiwi teams?
"I would not be surprised if the Lions at home beats them by more than 10 points"
more than 10 points on the saders? that happens very few times and the lions just got it once (many, many years ago). Taking into account the form of the saders' pack this is very highly improbable
"The Jaguars should win this game with ease... a win in excess of 10 points is highly likely."
why? the Jaguars have just won their game agaist the cheetahs (and by just 1 point),.... showed themshelves very unstructured in the last 2 matches,..... that's not the way of beating the blues,..... they can run riot against unstructured teams,...... sum the travel and I would say that the Blues are more likely to win
"An easy win by the Brumbies will be inevitable."
easy win inevitable? I don't think so,..... brumbies pack is superior, no doubt,..... but the chiefs backline is superior and very dangerous,...... I would say they are 50/50

The Chiefs is definitely a stronger team than the Blues and they have been struggling up front even though they beat the Jaguares. Frankly I cannot see the Blues beating them because they have been pathetic since their win against the Highlanders.
The Brumbies is a hard team to beat at home and I think they have a very good chance of beating the Chiefs.
The Crusaders will not get the number of balls they got against the Sharks who played a piss poor game against the Crusaders. With respect the Crusaders let in three tries against the miserable Kings and if the Lions backline attacks the Crusaders there will be gaps in their defense.
I am rather confident about my predictions this weekend. The NZ team in the previous round had a series of very poor teams to contend with and they did it well - this coming round they are up against much stronger teams and they are going to suffer as a result .

According to wee Mikey NZ props can barely prop up a bar our hookers are more akin to their working girl namesake our wingers fly like moas our centres are anywhere but and our scrummies and flyhalfs need white canes and jangly balls to help them work out how to catch where to pass and who to kick/pass to !Unlike the marvellous saffas who are teaching those useless Kiwi teams how to keep your trophy cabinet in tip top shape.By not weighing it down with heavy cumbersome trophies that just scratch up the woodwork and make it hard to decide how best to display them and keep them clean .A saffa tro phy cabinet just needs a quick flick of a duster along the bare boards and jobs a good 'un !

Lions and Jaguars are stronger teams LOL. oh ok then. Stats tell a different story. Nz teams are dominating end off. Regardless of the opposition.

We'll see on Saturday, Big mouths because the NZ teams played the minnows and beat them.
29 Mar 2016, 05:32#10
I scored 8/8 in the last tipping round on fox so I recon I could easily beat your silly tips.Getting a bit lippy yourself the mikey , werent you telling us all how all those player you reckon NZ cant do without were old and past it last year ? Wasnt it you saying how NZ would struggle because we supposedly had too many old players and hadnt bought on any youngsters ?Big mouth indeed.Sharks are minnows ? You reckon the Jags are the bees knees yet the Chiefs bested them in their den .Pity the Bools and the stormers are too gutless to even take on NZ teams so I guess we will never know eh ?So when was the last time saffa teams won anything of note ? 7 years and counting ? Even the Saders have more than twice as many trophies as ALL OF SA ! Big talk with nothing to back it up ,sounds like your channelling beanhead but no doubt if all your predictions turn to sh!t you will go 'haha I was just trying to get a debate going by stirring '

WD, Bools won the thing back in 2010, so not yet 7 years, but more than long enough for your argument to work. As for the Stormers and tha Bools not playing NZ teams, trust me, nothing to do with being gutless and all to do with idiotic rugby admin in SA and the rest of SANZAR by extension. Money talks and BS walks, but if you screw too much with the golden goose, the poor thing will croak. SANZAR is not working ATM and things have been going downhill for a few years now. The original S10 was good, S12 better, and S14 the best IMO. Since the conference BS started, the stadiums started running empty.

Minnows? Maybe kings and sw. But pretty competitive. I think thats just an excuse. Landers smashed tahs. Score was flattering in the end. Be unimpressive..if canes won vy five. Or chiefs by five. But.THEY diddnt.

I'd say the Blues have a better than even chance to beat the Jaguares, but they will lose if I pick them for a win on SB. If I pick them to lose, they will probably win. For some or other reason I always pick Blues matches wrong.

Nobody beat those teams by 5 - that is a fact. Burt we will see thi coming round how strong the BZ sides really is. They have had most of their matches against the Kings and the Force completed and then there was the Reds and the Rebels as well.
The Blues looked good in their first game and they have now gone backwards. The Chiefs has poor forwards and so has the Hurricanes, That leaves the Crusaders who "dminate the match against the Sharks and could really not break down their defense - when beating them by 5 points. The Sharks do not have the forwards to support their team and Gold was mad at them for kicking away balls - giving the Crusaders opportunities to run at them. They are not going to have that kind of opportunity against the Lions.
But OK - we will see this weekend how dominant they are.

This is the subtle difference between you and beanbrain and the t Kiwi posters on here. Most if not all dont feel the need to put down your teams ,players ,coaches and style of play ,except maybe as a riposte but rarely unbidden. We do however like to extol the virtues of our teams, players, coaches and style of play as its ours to do as we will .I notice you and a few others often tear down your own teams players and coaches and your own style of play and thats fine they're yours to do as you will.So kindly extend the favour and dont presume to know all about our rugby ,I certainly have'nt seen any Kiwis presume to know all about saffa rugby. And you have a bit of cheek going on about Kiwi teams supposedly playing weak sides when the Bools and Stormers get a double helping while completely avoiding NZ sides .Like the Stormers playing the stronger Aussie teams at home and only playing the reds ,farce and rebels away.

Sorry - but I do not put down any teams - if I did it would be SA teams that I criticize. When I look at teams I do so from the perspective of how they perform and against whom they played and will be playing in the next round. I try and make forecasts on what I expect would happen in games.
I do not write long columns on the superiority of any teams - not SA teams, or New Zealand teams or Australian teams -0 specially if the teams beat weaker teams. That one has to be objective about I believe.
In dealing with the issue of forecasts I look at performances of teams carefully and my latest forecasts are based on what I see happening based on those forecasts. Last week I favoured all the NZ teams - this week i favoured one of those - but cannot see how the other four could win their matches.
Because I do not rate their winning chances in this week's matches does not mean I am running them down - it merely is an objective assessment from my perspective. I do not write anything like "wee" this or that,
Look - I know the NZ supporters vary from me on issues since it seems to me they find it beyond capacity to be objective about any NZ teams - but that does not prevent independent thinkers about what they think and write ion this site. .

Mikey we dont feel the need to tear our own teams down like you guys like to and when for the most part ,and in the case of the ABs especially theres no need to .
