"one less reborn again Christian to worry about.  The records will show Folau was sacked. Case closed."

Classy arsehole...you are what you mock and despise. You are of the same spirit of those who burned witches at the stake ...and that same self who fed Christians and other innocents to the lions...lots of truths are revealed in jest...you give away more than you know.

Ha, Ha. The only thing worse than a Christian is a reborn again Christian. The last good Christian was the one who died for your sins.

Fed "Christians and other innocents" is a subjective claim.

The reality is Folau made his bed, and now he must lie in it. Nails and all...

No one wants to hear him banishing most of the world population to hell by forcing his primitive religion down peoples throats. He is just unfortunate that he included sexuality as part of this.

He is not respecting of Democratic laws, so he and his supporters must pay the price. He creates groups to discriminate against and then cries that he is being discriminated against. He put himself on the altar, and must face the consequences. On the positive side, at least he is still going to heaven...

Every rugby stadium in 2020 will have its own portable lion.

I'm not a "reborn again" Christian...or a "born again" one either...I'm just a man who actually gets and admires who Jesus of Nazareth was...and still are. We can go with the flow...like dead fish, or we can try to do the right thing ...I know what I and my house are trying to do.

Democracy will be the end of Western C ivilization before you expire...if there is any price to pay, you will get to pay your fair share too....it only works when the electorate have some degree of common sense, and we're way past that.

A new sport should be created for those thrown out of their own sports code. A few lions set loose in the stadium, with 20% survivors making it to the next round.

This is the one that got Folau

Beeno

You are like those people that have selective memory when they are in some argument or discussion that they are busy losing...…. however, you are a selective Christian as well, when it suits your agenda...… always have been, always will be

Reborn again Christians are reborn again Muslims. They share the same old backward testament in the Bible/Koran- with a few words lost in translation.
This article explains how an ex-Muslim does not want to use the fear of going to hell to be a good person.
"I don't need a hell to fear to be ethical, or a paradise to reward me for my good."

If only more Muslims and Christians could wake up, and leave this primitive backward mentality in the past where it belongs.
How the idea of hell drove me from IslamAbu Lahab explains how he renounced Islam, the faith of his birth and upbringing

Sat 26 Jul 2003 01.22 BST

Shares5It is not uncommon to hear of recent converts to Islam changing their minds and leaving again. But to leave Islam after being born and raised into it is something entirely different. Islam is more than a religion; it is a way of life. It comes with a culture and a community ...

My devotion to Islam would have been absolute, had there not been one problem: the issue of hell. Although I believed in it, I found it hard to understand why every non-believer would end up there, irrespective of who they were and what they did. Surely hell was reserved for the wicked, I thought.

One day, after attending my ethics class, my friends and I discussed some of the atrocities committed by the Nazis. Hearing what they had done made me feel physically sick. If anyone deserved hell, I felt they did. It was about this time that I began to ask questions, which didn't cease to haunt me. I asked myself which was worse: hell or torture in a concentration camp. Or hell and then all the tortures at a concentration camp combined? Hell had to be worse. It was a place no mind could imagine, where the nerves of your teeth would each be the size of Mount Uhud, I thought. And this was to be the fate of all non-believers? I asked myself who was worse: Allah or Hitler?

To my mind at the time, this question sounded very wrong. I knew I had to throw the question out of my mind and ask for forgiveness from Allah and protection from Satan, the outcast. I did. I tried. It kept coming back. You know how fast the human mind thinks, and a young mind quickly outruns any resolve. And however much I fought this question, doubts - the validity of which I couldn't deny - slipped past my defences ...

Eventually I allowed myself to think these thoughts, because they haunted my mind so much that I felt that, if I thought them out, they wouldn't nag at me any more. I tried to think them through as fast as possible, sometimes quitting in the middle if I found myself heading towards a result I didn't like. Since God cannot be worse than Hitler, I found myself ceasing to believe in hell. I cried. I immediately begged God for forgiveness. I felt Islam was perfect, but I wasn't. That was the day I left Islam. By dropping one of the core pillars of faith, belief in hell, I was forced out of Islam by its own rules ...

I thought, if I'm going to hell, I had better deserve it. I took a trip to Las Vegas. I got involved with drugs, alcohol, women, theft and eating pork. I remember fighting back tears, while watching a stripper undress in front of me. I stayed up all night drinking at parties until I had to throw up. By the end I felt deeply ashamed about what I was doing. This wasn't me. I was going to have to learn the hard way how to live without Allah and the set of rules Islam had given me. I had yet to understand the concept that a good person can exist without religion. All I hoped for was to learn to live any life at all without Islam ...

These days, when I'm at home I pretend to be a Muslim ... Away from my family, I am experiencing a peace I could never understand as a Muslim. I had always worried about non-Muslims. Now I feel like a big responsibility has been lifted from my shoulders. I am accepting people for who they are. As a Muslim, I always worried about the afterlife and how to save myself and my friends from hell. My concerns have now shifted to this world ... This move has given me a life of my own. This peace has given me the strength to face the world. I don't need a hell to fear to be ethical, or a paradise to reward me for my good.

""I don't need a hell to fear to be ethical, or a paradise to reward me for my good."

It's  not about Heaven or Hell. It's about a way of living...Order vs Chaos...forget about the Bible or about Hawking and Dawkins, think for yourself. Free your mind.

Its about a lot of things. Being a forgiven child of God. Being adopted into His family. Being joint heirs with the Son. Going to Heaven and not to Hell.

Far, far more than a moral God which it is. We  shall be changed to be like Him for we shall see Him face to face and then forever.

For the foolish atheist their troubles are only beginning.

The average non-religious person is a better person than the average religious person. The day this changes, then religion would be worthy of consideration. Would you prefer an atheist Arab or a Muslim one...
Folau is a perfect example- he proved that this was all about money, not about morals. He sold out the Christian values for money. He is a hypocrite that talks about God but he proved he is not a good person.  If hell did exist, Beeno would be the favourite to make it to hell out of everyone on this board.
