Now of course Marx as a player has to be extremely careful what he can say but its clear he was not happy with scrum calls.

We also had Robbie Kempson speaking out very strongly and providing the video evidence that that last scrum was totally illegal. also that other scrums were badly called.

But we are all supposed to ignore all this and believe mozzzzzz spinning everything to suit his Rassie hating agenda.

  • Springbok hooker Malcolm Marx has intimated that the national team were on the receiving end again of tough refereeing calls against the Wallabies, particularly at scrum time.
  • It was indeed noticeable that South Africa weren't rewarded for their dominance at the set-piece throughout the match.
  • But Marx acknowledges that it can't be the sole reason for the team's defeat and pointed out they need to improve.

Malcolm Marx has intimated that the Springboks were once again on the wrong side of the whistle when it came to certain decisions, particularly at scrum time.

Nothing illustrated that frustration than in the final set-piece of Sunday's 26-28 loss to the Wallabies on the Gold Coast, where - despite not having ascendancy at that scrum - the hosts could've easily been pinged for shoving inwards instead of South Africa being penalised for not releasing.

There was also a scrum shortly before that match-defining moment where the Boks had their opponents in reverse gear.

In fact, their overall dominance in that facet was never rewarded.

Sure it was concerning to lose that first OZ game but the Boks never got their game going.

Always predictable with their plan and no alternate plan when things are going south.

No use crying about the loss better to get a winning game plan and deliver on the field not through the media.

Neither the BL series or the Pumas games proved zero but the same boring game plan with results that impressed some but disappointed many supporters.

Time for a change of game plan, from the coaches and many so called Springboks in the squad.

Start Jantjies at #9 and Marx at #2 for starters.

Perhaps Willie needs a few games from the bench to get him up to speed and the "ignored skipper" should be benched straight after singing the national anthem.

The starting props need to be replaced as "Ginger" and "Belly- Flop " are not able to hold their own.

Sure they might have been great but that was last year unfortunately.

Hopefully the penny will drop with the folks in charge and they will get a winning game plan in place.....soooonnnnn.

Yes agreed. We have not seen Kitshoff playing well outside the scrum for a long time.

Marx is back in top form and currently the best Bok forward. Not starting makes no sense.
The breakdowns look more dominant with him on the pitch, and his lineout throws are currently better than Bongi. His impact is instant as he gets on.

Rather replace Kitshoff with Ox.
