It seems like Fox Soccer Plus is history, and along with it television coverage of Super Rugby in the States. I read elsewhere that ESPN3 might pick it up, but this was just speculation. Do you have any other information?

Hmm - not good. As far as I know, Direct TV channel 490 is still showing them. Its what my Saffa friends here use. Get my games online, usually delayed but not a problem with the time difference anyway. Can help with that if you are interested.

 Moz, the streaming tech is developing nicely. Un SA we pay quite a bit more for  Supersport apposed to regular TV. I'm investigating some online options myself. There are some payed for online services that are supposedly much better than the free stuff. It would be super to get a rugby ap in the mold of Netflix. I get excellent quality on a basic adsl line, with no  buffering.

I haven't had great luck with live streaming Draad, but as you say things are improving as internet speeds improve. I did, however, find this encouraging piece
Now ESPN is looking to increase their participation in the sport. For the last couple of years, rugby games from France’s professional competition, the Top 14, and the European Championship (think UEFA Champions League for rugby) have been available on ESPN’s streaming services. This year they also picked up the Americas Rugby Championship, a new annual tournament between the USA, Canada, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Brazil. Shortly after that ESPN announced that they will be broadcasting Super Rugby games starting in February.

I heard the commentator at tonight's game talk about this year's extensive worldwide Superugby coverage on ESPN, including both South & North America .

Moz - FWIW, looks like Direct TV has dropped their rugby channel as well.

If your TV package includes ESPN, then you will be able to watch it online after you login (TV provider may have to give you login info), or you can view it on the WatchESPN app on Apple TV, Roku, your laptop / phone or whatever.

 Thanks Matey, I have a decently sized Apple screen, but it's so much more appealing on TV. Still at least we have something!

Get a Roku or Apple TV - plug it into your TV and watch it through WatchESPN app. Will work great.
