RG had a bit of a slow start this year with the Boks, but he was also not given much game time.
In the game that he did start (Italy?), he did not have his best game - but that day the Boks were poor.
He was exceptional against the All Blacks, back to his best. He plays blindside lock 4 (front of the lineout jumper) or loose-side lock 5 (mid-lineout jumper) - but started at 4 against the All Blacks instead of Eztebeth.
He simply has to start - we need him
