May I ask questions about the Chiefs-Blues Game this morning

There was a rather interesting incident in the game.  The Blues player gets tackled by Mckenzie and threw the ball in-field.  There is no Chiefs player to get to the ball and the nearest player with an open tryline is tackled before he got to the ball by Sam Cane.  That raises the issue of a professional foul in the red zone five meters from the tryline and the questions are -
*   Should the referee not ask if the foul did take place would a try have been scored?*   Is a blatant professional foul in the red zone not dealt with by a yellow card?*   Has Cane taken over from McCaw in games in New Zealand that he is not punishable for offences like other players are?

 Yes to all 3 questions Mike.Cane is untouchable as the premier 7 in world rugby and is slipping nicely into St Richies possie in the ABs. God help y ou.....

Thanks for an objective answer.  The real issue here is that Cane would not get away if their was proper refereeing and fact is no player - irrespective of how good he is - is above the law.   

 Mike havent you got enough to moan about with your own teams ?And if anyone should be cheesed off it us Kiwis with the blatant gerrymandering of the nonsense conference system ,why should 2 saffa teams be gifted a home play off at the expense of teams who have more points ? Or is that OK is it ?

 These were serious questions and I think they deserve serious answers - like moolaa provided.   I have the right to make observations about all games in Super Rugby - the NZ games are not holy cows that may not be questioned.  
I have already stated before Wardad that the Conference system is BS and to keep bringing that up is not in any way related to the above serious questions.        

 ...notso clevermike...write to Sanzar and complain about the refereeing perhaps if it makes you feel better...but if Cane is annoying you now, imagine how beside yrself yr gunna be when later this year he's part of the ABs team that kicks yr yarpy butt...

Were my questions correct - yes or no.  I am not criticizing any player _ I just amde an observation to get a fishing response from the NZ supporters.  
However, my objective is misinterpreted and is now use as an escape route from answering the first to questions - which really were serious questions.    

 let me ask you some other questions, not so clevermike,.....

does it hurt so badly to see the overwhelming superiority of the NZ teams that you feel the need of coming with this sort of conspiracy theories based on nothing?

do you really think that a ref is going to be thinking that Cane is the probable (yet is not  even sure) succesor of McCaw at test level with the AB and then don't make calls against him at Super Rugby?

now that we have Mr. Been down there with his Trumpet, is it your turn to replace him and his delusional nonsenses ?

Agree with Mike. If you are 5m or 75m out, a clear try scoring opportunity is a clear try scoring opportunity. The punishment should be the same. Again, consistency in reffing seems to be underrated, by refs at least. Dunno about the Cane/McCaw business. Don't give a shyte actually. I prefer to focus on SA and the exiting phase our rugby is in right now. Whatever happens, the coming years will see SA teams evolve a little quicker and I look forward to it. One thing I don't wish on NZ is that the ABs follow the same pattern so many extremely succesful teams do post said success. Ask, England, Spain or Australia...it's fcking horrible.

No offence meant - some of the things I post is fishing for comments.   However, above was two serious questions and a joke one that went wromng - if I bear the NZ supporters comments in mind.   
Actually I am a Cane fan - but he is like all players not faultless - and I think he will be the new AB's opensider.  I questioned to things about him recently - but that does not mean I do not like him as a player. 
I am not sure how many more surprises - the Reds beating the Highlanders is one of the biggest upsets yet of the tournament.   I watched the game and the Highlanders did make a late comeback - but obviously not enough.
