A win for the All Blacks this weekend would give captain Richie McCaw his 98th Test victory in what will be his 110th cap for his country against South Africa in The Investec Rugby Championship's fourth round at Dunedin.
  Should New Zealand remain unbeaten for the rest of The Rugby Championship, McCaw if not injured would become the first player in test history to achieve 100 wins if the All Blacks beat South Africa on October 7.

However the Springboks have been the most competitive team, in a head-to-head with the All Blacks captain, and while winning his 20th Test cap against the Springboks this weekend, he has his poorest record against any nation against this weekend's opponents, having been on the winning side in 14 of the 19 Tests against them.

That represents a 73% win rate.

Comparing to McCaw's career win ratio of 89%, the Springboks are number one, while McCaw's second worst winning nation is Australia, with a 82% win rate against the Wallabies.

Hurricanes captain and All Blacks back Conrad Smith will become the most capped starting All Black centre of all-time when he lines up against the Springboks.

Surpassing Frank Bunce’s record of 55 All Black starts in the centre, one ahead of midfield partner Ma'a Nonu, who joins Bunce on 55 starts in what will be Nonu's 70th cap. The Test against South Africa will be the duo’s 37th Test start as a centre combination. They are already the third most capped centre partnership in rugby history and are catching up fast on the Carling/Guscott (44 Tests), and O’Driscoll/D’Arcy combinations (48 Tests).

Tony Woodcock wins his 89th cap for the All Blacks this weekend, joining Dan
Carter as the fifth most capped All Black of all-time. The 31-year-old made his debut a decade ago in a 43-17 win against Wales.

so McCaws two worst test records against other nations are the Boks with 73% and the wallabies 82%, no wonder hes so despised.
