I just think there are more important things to do with life than mount obsessive campaigns trying to prove someone once said a player was rubbish in 1897 but decided they might have had a reversal of form in 1901, or vice versa. 

And all because Saffex doesn't rate Morne Steyn or Heyneke Meyer

I disagree with Saffex all the time about my team and I will not capitulate, but I'm hardly going to fall out with him or find ways to denigrate him because of it, am I ? ! He may hate me for it, but I certainly don't hate him  
And just because I'm female, it does not mean I do not love my Rugby nor do I know nothing about the game. I know as much, or more !, as some of you men. So I do get cross. But, for goodness sake, it really is getting beyond silly now ! 

And actually, I used to have a near photographic memory for facts etc. it's why I was good at what I did. My A Level History Exams were so detailed, I was accused of gaining assistance from my Tutor.....they said no-one could write that much and remember that much in three hours. Well, some of us can....or I could. And that is why some of us are good at certain things.When I was stuck at Physio for months, I used to recite facts and figures from History to try and take the pain away....before moving on to Rugby. Every team, Try Scored, Conversion in every Comp I could remember. As I say, it can be done.
But remembering posts verbatim like that ? Some, yes. Dozens, never.Mozart admits to archiving some. Why, I have no clue. 
So yes, some at least are saved. 


But my point has more to do with the......why ?.....rather than the method, even though I find that completely ridiculous. 
I just find it rather pathetic.....and such a waste of life.

I have neve, once said that I have a search engine. The one person on here, who I have told what I have done, must be pissing himself laughing. Confusion and lying are two different things.
I will provide examples, if you like....
Confusion is mixing two people up with the same surname.....and being big enough to admit that may well have been the case.

Lying is lying. You know, about having a photographic memory for other peoples posts or not sitting burning the midnight oil to prove a point just so it makes one feel better about themselves. It just happens that recall is simple. Or that saying trying to prove someone wrong with an obsessive zeal does not have anything to do with them saying they don't like your favourite player. That is an example of lying, I think.

There are more, obviously. Like saying you didn't steal something when you did or kill someone intentionally when everyone knows you did. But this is just an example.A hypothesis.Off the top of my head

OK Maaikie. Here is a proposition for you but let's first just look at what happened in this sad Pollard saga, so we can clear it up once and for all.

You basically implied that two years ago, while "we were hanging onto Morne Steyn"  you (and Safesex) have already identified Pollard as a great flyhalf.

Then Mozart checked up to see if you were not , once again, bullshitting and what did he find? Yes, you basically said that he was on par with the "kakkest" fly half in the world who should never have been anywhere near a Bok team.

Now, here is the deal. Just answer this, and all it requires is one simple and uncomplicated answer. When did you bullshit? Two years ago when you said that Pollard was a crap fly half, or earlier this week when you said that you rated him two years ago. No lengthy essays on the subject please. Just a simple choice between the two options and the problem will be solved.
