His obsession with Matfield is becoming more and more evident...
His son, VIC, is playing varsity cup.

Would love to see him in action.
I wonder if he also plays lock and makes the lineout calls?

Check it all here...

Ceradyne, where is your Foxsports Fantasy Rugby team?

Chippo and Machiavelli, and yours?

Go here and either enter or at least say why you're not going to join us.

The Ruckers Forum Ed has very generously put up test tickets (and other prizes) and bear in mind he also gives you guys a free service here. The very least you can do is explain why you won't take part and help increase our membership.

I shall not be joining the fun.  I have erratic schedules and may at times be in an area where there is no Internet connection.  It means that I lose opportunities and subsequently become a delinquent player.

I am sure that he is not really interested in the reason why I am not taking part. I suspect it is more a matter of you being interested to know the reason and if so, then ........Scot.

Fair enough, Ed probably doesn't care. It's me who wants to know. So, I'm updating your name on my list as "no real interest in rugby" . . . correct?

Honestly. I don't care what you put in there. Anything that floats your boat as long as I can get you off my back with your immature whinging about some silly little fantasy game.

Rooi, I try to watch the stormers match every week and maybe one of the other SA teams. FR requires a bit of knowledge of a broader player base...i don't have that, that's why i am on rugga forums ...to get tips on who to watch during the matches i do have time for.

So you're saying you watch the Hapless Stompies out of choice?
Good grief!

How old is his son? I imagine he was born before Meyerfeld
Meyers 2002 Game plan- Kick the ball out- and get Victor to win the Lineout.
Pass the ball to Victor, and setup a line out drive.

To use Matfield in a driving maul was just not possible - he was physically just too weak for that.    The maul was where he was over the period since 2014/15 he ended up on the grass outside of the mauls.   He should have retired in 2011 and stayed as far as possible from playing the game of rugby.
Matfield neatly managed to wreck his reputation by playing rugby in the latter period.
