The reason Marx does not start is very simple. His color does not meet with the ANC starting color code.

Why the hell they bring Elton into such a close game is a bad choice at best.

If you are going to make a change bring Steyn on at 12 leave Pollard at 10 and either leave Willie at 15 or sub him with Fassi.

If Pollard is failing with the boot let Frans Steyn take over the kicking role.

Elton has never been reliable with his plays or kicks at goal under pressure. What he is doing in the squad only the backline coach would know.

You know that backline genius from EP.

The Springbok "Selectors" will have to spend 2022 building a squad that has to get rid of the oldies and select younger players who are knocking at the door because if they don't these younger players will leave SA shores for greener pastures and be lost forever and the biggest losers will be SA Rugby and us (the supporters).

Poor show all round except for Eben and the Ref.

Polly was a bit off his game...Elton didn't do much wrong, if any...

Jantjies did a good skip pass that created the space for the Bok try .

It did not take long before the non existing quota policy was brought as an attempt to explain the defeat.

So predictable.

There is nothing in SA rugby.

SA rugby is collapsing and fewer and fewer opportunities are going to be provided.

SA should face the reality and decrease the number of playerss trained to match the shrinking opportunities.

We have a lot to build on but, overall, it was a good game and I’m pretty pleased with the result !

Steward and Smith are good, aren’t they, Mozart ? Very impressive.

We lost Genge to Covid and he’s been playing well, so we just need to hope he gets back and turns into a real test player. I think our rookies did as well as they could be expected to. Not easy having a new Prop and Hooker in a match of that significance really.
