 Agreed Plum. Stormers has some hard luck this year, about time they get the rub of the green.. .well played by the Blues...and a good comeback by the Stormers. Not a free flowing match, but no bore fest either. I only saw the last Q, but had radio for the rest.

ABasque is 100% correct. Any other ref and the Blues won that comfortably. 
The decision not to card Shaun Treeby for the high tackle that injured Piers Francis was a game-changer but it was one of many clangers by Jaco van Heerden, nearly all of which favoured the Hapless Stompies.
A shocker by Van Heerden who is trying hard to be the new Gert Bezuidenhout with his blatantly biased home-town reffing. One look at his stupid purple boots and we should have already known this was a self-absorbed arsehole. Don't be surprised if that was his last appointment for the season.
As for Eben Etzebeth, just further proof that he is the most overrated plodder since Bob Skinstad first stuck out his tongue and got the Blowhards clutching their tiny little gherkins. Credit where it's due, even though the ref gifted them the match, the Stompies did show a bit of heart for a change and their bench players made a big difference, especially the much maligned Skuna Notshe and Damian de Allende.

Funny reading Urinal attacking a referee he claims gave the game to the Bloos. I think that wasn't a try by Notshe.....but the Stormers were in the ascendancy at that point, chances are they would still have won. .... As for the bleating about the Treeby tackle.....what of the head high tackle on Leyds when he was stopped at the poles that wasn't even called. .... In any case the ref called out the double movement for the TMO to check....he accepted the call of the guy in best position to judge the incident. The TMO made a poor call and failed to inform the ref of other infractions.....let's get real shall we. But funniest of all is that Urinal's principle of not second guessing the ref doesn't apply when the Stormers benefit....what a hypocrite.
