We are planning a trip down to Herman us in Easter or thereabouts...my missus is still freezing in Moscow as she is looking after her terminally ill mother but she will visit in a few months time.

Things are very difficult for both of us and going backwards and forwards to Moscow is very stressful and expensive...I'm not a person that is at home in huge cities but somehow I love Moscow...Rome and Dublin.

Johannesburg is the ugliest city in the world...just no spirit, character or soul...your friend  Mozart, who appears to be financially comfortable lives close to Chicago...I've been to the States but never there...

Anyway cut the crap...we might well stop over at Stilbaai and maybe take a ..draai to Riversdal...where we might chew some fat

 Seb
First of all - may God help in your wife's present situation and one can only hope that her mother in law will find peace.
I will be most offended if you do not come and visit for at least two days and you can stay over at my house if you can stand four genius Jack Russells, who runs the House.   I will take you around to all nice places in the area and we can have the best food Riversdale can offer.   Will take you to Still Bay and Ladysmith - also Sewe-Weekspoort.
I am doing fine - at the moment we are building a rock fish pond at my house and trying to keep the garden going.

Mike thats nice...you're a part of the good left in SA...sadly with youth they struggle to comprehend it...we all are different and clash with one another but we are still friends and brothers...life is very beautiful if you reach out against your prejudices...that's one of the advantages of getting old...we can waffle on about this...as I get older I look back at mistakes, error I've made but never harp on it...I just ask for forgiveness of the perfect One that willingly paid the price for my iniquities and move on.

The worlds in a mess...politicians have hidden agendas...business is very corrupt and dishonest...we have all become hypocrites and in denial.

Puffed up with pre tentious and false vanities we grind our way through but adversity and trials come...these are gifts sent by the one who created us and wants the best to build our character.

I don't know what it's like to wealthy and famous like famous film stars and sportsmen but I'm sincerely thankful I don't have stumbling blocks that are temptations to lose the way to true happiness and honest focus/meaning in life.

Look forward to meeting you.
