You had to go back to 2012 to find an example where he was matched by equally slow players? Wow! Nope he really is abysmally slow....gets ball, runs to the advantage line, falls forward one metre, beats a tackle every leap year.

Well I'll grant you, 4 years ago he was about as fast as his number7. Now having bulked up he is probably even slower than that. Dave it's pointless to show me stuff from 4 years ago, I saw him play in every 6N game, if he was decent pace as a youngster, he is no longer.

a thank you than an accolade to CJ Stander, who played his last match for the Vodacom Blue Bulls in Durban. Stander only came on in the second half as a substitute, but few will argue against claims that he was a constant performer for the Blue Bulls in a difficult season.
He scored five tries, the same as the best scoring back, Akona Ndungane, and almost all of those were crucial tries for the team.
Stander leaves the Blue Bulls family way too early in his career, but might be back for a second stint in the future. Munster will benefit greatly from having Stander in their squad.

So he has probably put on the better part of 20lbs....probably 5 metres slower over the 100. When you are a small loosie, you can bulk up, but not without losing pace.

This is another opposite coming to be expected from Mozart. Normally he supports players based on their past history to justify their selection to the Springbok team and when they do not perform at present he would never admit it.
In this case he has found a new way at looking at Stander - another of his pet hates because Stander was a threat to his great favourite Alberts. He tried that stunt of claiming that Stander lost pace because he bulked up iro Labuschagne. In both cases he has no proof of his allegations and one can accept what he writes as horse sh!t.

Both were rated by you as slow - the pairing is all in the mind of Mozart who thought that Alberts was fast enough to be a Springbok loosie and the lack of speed of the latter could be off-set by a 105 kg lock - both be inadequate so the team had to play with a constant handicap.

If you are small you have to have some pace. These players both decided they were not physical enough for the modern game....so they bulked up losing what pace they had. Now they are undoubtedly stronger....but not strong as we saw when the Pom pack made a doormat of Stampkar. Not strong like an Alberts. This will probably go on for a while, relative to Irish players Stampkar may be an okay choice. We have far better players.

I knew this clip would have you smarting......CJ proves in it that he has MORE than enough pace and skill to play 7 or 8......beating a 12 proves it....hell Zebo struggled to keep up with him.

Another lie.....he was good against England, outplayed his opposite number Robshaw with ease.....only Billy was ahead of him in the stats
Moz his role was to take it up in traffic, geez don't you get that.....it was not to offload, it was to draw defenders in and set up phase play. Do you have no appreciation of what his role is in the side. He is the go to man.....he steps up phases.

Its as bad as the stat that has Etzebeth still at 117kg's
