Sadly for Mostert his contributions are taken as expected.....whereas anything Stephanie does is hyped up the gazoo. He had a good game yesterday, but best Bok on the park? Not even close. Take a day off, send the kids to the in laws.....a Mozcroscope will reveal that despite the hype Mostert was the better player. To be continued....

Dr Moz repair the faulty Mozcroscope lens first. The world class number 7, Du Toit, is in a class of his own. By the way Mostert was playing lock. His competition right now is Snyman not Du toit.

Twenty eight  tackles by Du Toit takes some beating.

Both were very good.

Not exactly sure if it's intended for us to revolve the way we play on a high work rate in defence, but if we are then they are very suitable. Neither have the punch that Lood or Snyman are capable of on the charge. If we have Steph at 7 for his workrate I'd like to experiment with one of those partnering Etzebeth. Steph hasn't proven himself at 7 yet but if he continues in the same vein then our pack is looking to mirror previous physical Bok sides.

Steph hasn't proven himself at 7

Cheaser he may not have proven himself to you but he has in a big way for the vast majority of folk given his rati ngs against the wee abs. Must he also walk on water!!!!!

My concerns with Steph are that he is getting beaten by the fringe every game. It's become an obvious opportunity as far as our opponents are concerned. He defends like he is operating 2 seconds behind everyone else too often.

That said, there are positives to his game. He is one of the forwards we can trust ball-in-hand. They can station him out wide and he has lineout ability.

However, he has been one of those players shielded from critique. This is why the Guppies were too soft for Jake.

Reading a morzoscope of yours is normally funny because it comprises of lies and misrepresentations - nobody can take that BS seriously.   So keep it up and forget about even trying to write the prejudiced  BS you are known for,

It's not a morzcoscope you old fool, your addled brain is thinking about the Morse code. Hasbeen there has been far too much subjective hype, this is going to be totally quantitative....no opinion. Here's the scoring mechanism: 1 For a process fringe tackle. 2 For a dominating or open field tackle. -2 For a missed tackle. -3 For a defensive lapse that results in a try. 1 For a lineout on your own throw. 2 For a lineout steal. 1 For a run that registers as positive yardage. 2 For a run that beats a tackle. 3 For a value added try assist. 1 For an offload 1 For a kick off take. 1 For a solid cleanout 2 For a turnover 1 For legally slowing down opposition ball -2 for a loss of ball Then we simply total up the scores.....every element of lock/flanker play will be scored in this way and we will have a winner. No extra points for crying.

Dr Moz you are onto a hiding to nothing simply because Moster had a pretty good game at lock ( Although i think i would like Snyman to have a shot at partnering Eben) and because lock and flanker play are different.

Then there is qualitative elements. Du Toit's tackles are harder for example. Then comparing apples with apples - Du Toit can dominate at the back of lineouts but Mostert is a number 5 lock!

Take it from Beeno - Du Toit is a world class 7 as he proved against Nz with a man of the match game.

What the hell is a process tackle?  It came out previously that process tackles are always made by your pet hates and decent tackles by your favourites,

When I read the first paragragh  of the above post of yours I realized the rest is dreamed up BS invented by your less than fertile brain deficiency.

So there you have it.....on an objective basis Mostert did almost twice as much as Stephanie to win the test. Nor was there any evidence of Stephanie's superior physicality. Most of the points came from tackles and there is no doubt Mostert made the better tackles and missed fewer. In fact if you look at my tackle count for Stephanie of 22 tackles, 12 of them were joint tackles. For Mostert by my count he made 18 tackles of which only 7 were joint tackles. The message here is that you can't always believe your impressions. Mostert is a much less obvious player than Stephanie with his blond hair....the camera is hardly ever on him. But in terms of sheer impact on the game.....Mostert wins the contest hands down. In the old days our rugby scribes were smart enough to see what a Piet Greyling did next to the more obvious Jan Ellis. Not the case in today's world of favourites and hype. Stephanie had one of his best tests, don't get me wrong....but Mostert was much more influential and that's the end of the story.

Mozart BS exposed from the following comments in news 24:-

"Pieter-Steph du Toit, playing out of position in the No 7 jersey, produced another monumental performance and was my man-of-the-match.

But a moment that will live on in Springbok rugby folklore was seeing Du Toit in tears straight after the final whistle.

Du Toit’s work-rate was second to none on Saturday and he made close to 30 tackles, not to mention a few sturdy carries as well.

An example of Du Toit’s commitment and impeccable work rate can be seen in the video clip below where he runs 60m to make a try saving tackle in the first half. "

Clip shows what is going on here - pet hate, lies and misrepresentations to be taken into account when dealing with this idiot supreme.

The above writings of Mozart are full misrepresentation and lies, in other words total BS, and should not be taken seriously.   The man suffer from dementia.

So about that run back and 'try saving tackle'. Firstly the man is playing at flank.....not lock....he should be covering the field. Note the Mozcroscope gives him full 2 point credit for 'participating in an open field tackle'.....scrupulously honest reporting. But if you look at what happened Stephanie is one of three Boks in on the tackle. First and most important is Malcolm Marx who has run all the way back and actually makes the initial contact...but is bumped to the side by Stephanie as he comes in. Next is Whiteley who is in his direct path and blocks him. The third is Stephanie who comes over the top. And hangs on to aleg. Whiteley and Marx had the situation covered, Stephanie helped pull him down and a fourth Pollard was also ready to stop further progress. Yet Stephanie gets all the credit for a try saving tackle......hype upon hype....by himself Stephanie never makes that tackle.

It is always a totally slanted thing that you wrote and that is why it is utter BS,  Bad news that.   Nobody said that Mostert had a poor game and you are the one who tried to find a means of attacking Du Toit,  The whole scenario is typical  a creation by you to attack Du Toit and that is what makes it stinks to high heaven.

You are childish and malevolent - a real person with hatred of huge magnitude of players who were potential replacement candidates for the rugby geriatrics admired by you.   That shines through every post you ever made about any of your pet hate players.   Childish BS on your part

I guess if all your arguments fall flat you have to rely on endless insults. My point scoring system can be debated, but once one accepts that....the results are automatic. Mostert played a bigger role. My motivation is simple, expose the hype that has led to so many dead ends in Bok rugby. Like it, hate it.....it matters nothing to me.

Everything you do not like is hype  when it comes to your pet hates,   Nobody over years has a record of hyping up your favorite players that was in fact not meeting requirements.   The list is virtually endless - so who are you to talk about hype?

Because of what you write on this site and your personal attacks nobody find it difficult to find insulting remarks that accurately describe you for what you really are.

So PSDT made 18 metres and beat two defenders...whereas Mostert ran 20cm and beat nobody...probably why PSDT is rated higher especially if he made more carries and his metres gained stat is 900% better than Mosterts..

Yes but neither did anything of note with the ball, whereas they were huge on defence, except Mostert was more effective. He also took lineouts and made more clean outs. All captured in the Accumulator. 900% of pretty much nothing is pretty much nothing....best you NZ chaps stay away from the numbers, unless you want to give every flank that makes 18 metres the MOM award.
