Neutral refs . . .

I really think DA makes a great point Denny .....so much easier to cheat in favour of your own side in the next round if you are designated a neutral. .. In truth even competence isn't a complete defence. The propensity to make panic induced decisions, like Poite in the Lions series, is what needs to be avoided. Most fans would probably accept the concensus out of the commentary box, made with the benefit of a second look without any pressure. One thing that would reduce pressure is to allow the ref to talk with the video ref without it being made public. .. Just a thought.

 Who knows I mean seriously now, fancy this, it's mid-week, that midget frame of his is obviously bloated with dop and other stuff so something has to give, like it or lump we have to just wear it. Hey Den I've just taken another look at those photos you sent me.....it's interesting how slim these guys all are in their t-shirts. There isn't huge upper body bulk. And Kolisi is a tall man....just as Lambie looks even smaller than one thought, a bit like Frodo out of LOR.

So true, it's deceiving when one sees them on telly, they look huge and even from back in the stands so those shots are a revelation. Jesse Kriel is on the skinny side, Habana however, whom I met in the lift looked a lot bigger than on screen.
There was nothing deceiving about Bakkie's size though, he towered over me and man does he have some beef! How on earth did a guy like George Smith summon the courage to even think of tackling him!

A bit of upper body bulk there.....and hands like frying pans.
