Dave

I was very susicious as to the outcome of ths match an hought the Pu,as could win the test - but the fact that a half-strength Pu,as siide beat the BRI Lions in a warming up match says a lot in my book.

Sorry I did not watch the match Watch the replay and agree with you about the win by the Pumas.

You have to wonder what's behind Argentina not managing consistency two games in a row. They can beat anyone on any day, but can also get themselves absolutely clobbered half the time.

Pakie

Because teams underrate them as a team and then get a kick in the arse as a result. ,

No, I don't think teams are underrating Argentina anymore.

Well they onviously was by the AB's yesterday, All their normal top erformance was avearge based on yesterdays game an like teh Springboks they will have to up their game, against the Springboks 14 das from now,

Erasmus was not amused by some player performances and those included some key players as well. Real cleaning up is necessary and the loosies were sickenly poor wh too much kicking by the srummie and even Pollard - most of tose kicks remind em of the aimess kicking of St Morne at his poorest, ,

We will have to see waht the touring squad loks like - but hat happened yesterday may be h alst we see from some players being in teh squad, In the case of the loosies it was a plain disaster match.

" too much kicking by the srummie and even Pollard"

Uncle DM, has it ever occurred to you that Pollard & Williams were instructed to kick more??

After the loss, Dr.Drol lamented the fact that we didn’t kick enough…..

The Bargies play terrific ball in hand rugby….their backline structures are as good as any top team. The Achilles heel is the scrum…Ox will be our key player against them

Their scrum stood firm against the AB’s - they seem to have a few new players on board - their locks and props did not look familiar

Listening to the AB wise men after the game, what they are saying is they simply don’t have quality players in some key positions. This is by far the weakest NZ team I have seen. They are unsure about players, confused that their usual tactics aren’t working, smarting from many defeats.. ..they are there for the taking.

I get the feeling there is discontent in the AB squad. Not sure everyone is on board with Razor's vision. But that's just my impression. Also, Kiwis, are Rieko and Sevu really it for wings in the Long Black Cloud now? That would be tragic.

That loss by the ABs gives me a touch of hope for our games in NZ.

Not much though.

Mozart, I think that’s quite a short sighted view. By that logic, the Boks losing to the Wallabies must mean we are ripe for the taking too??

Rugby doesn’t work like that. Form swings, but class is permanent.

To say the All Blacks don’t have quality players is just not true. This “weakest ever” tag is a dangerous one, because it creates a false sense of security.

Write off the ABs at your own peril.

Pakie, I don’t think what you’re seeing is discontent in the squad.

Whenever a new coach comes in, there’s always an adjustment phase.

Scott is finding his feet, and the players are adapting to new systems and expectations.

That doesn’t equal unhappiness in the camp. As for Rieko and Sevu, they both are top class wingers and has a proven strike rate.

They’ll always be a threat, no matter who they’re up against.

The Boks should be more concerned about our own older core fading, rather than banking on this being some sort of All Black crisis.

History shows underestimating New Zealand is the quickest way in seeing your ass.

We are...

We lost to Argentina last year. We drew to Ireland at home. And we lost to the Ozzies at our fortress. We're about to go and lose two games on the trot to NZ and then, hopefully, we don't slip up against Argentina again, and then we have Ireland and France away from home.

We aren't just there for the taking; we have been taken.

On the French game - I seriously hope that Rassie sends a C side to France. Their sending a side minus most of their good players to NZ is a slap in the face to Test rugby. And that for a 3 match series. So dman scummy. We should all start doing it, until it is banned—such a self-serving and cowardly tactic from the French. No doubt, they'll field a full-strength side for their home games and their fans will be booing all in sundry again.

Are there bigger assholes in world rugby at the moment than the French? I hope England and Ireland wipe the floor with them in the Nations. I'm gonna be all over X, rubbing it in.

Disagree M….the only NZ players who would have a chance of being selected for the Bok team are Jordan, Beauden Barrett, Tailor and Ardi Savea. Certainly they are a proud rugby nation, with a high rugby IQ but they are going through a very barren talent patch.

Razor needs to start showing some results….they won the series against a Frog development team, but were very unconvincing….then lost to the Bargies.

We have our own issues as the Aussies demonstrated. This RC is as even as it’s ever been with no dominant team at this stage.

Those are the only ones you will pick??

What about:

Wallace Satiti, Tyrell Lomax, Tamatie Williams, Scott Barrett, Luke Jacobson, Tupou Vaai, Codie Taylor, Fabian Holland, Ethan Blackadder

Caleb Clarke, Anton lienert Brown, D McKenzie, Billy Proctor, Ratima, Roigard, Jordi Barrett etc.

Not a Bad group of players if you ask me:) They are definitely good enough to beat the Boks.

Not a bad group, but which of those players would replace our incumbents or NZ’s 2015 WC winners for that matter. Can they beat us in NZ? Absolutely our team is getting to it’s sell by date and the coaches are conflicted, should they try Brown ball or strategies that won the WC.

Well I think there best chance of beating us, is most probably in New Zealand. Home ground advantage…

The AB of 2015 was a special group and very unique. Not really fair comparing them to this group.

But I think they can build there own legacy.
