for the 5 SA sides there are only 8 players who are 30 and over. I would guess the majority of the 115 are under 25. Very healthy position.
Name the 8 old men

Saffex...if they are not 34+ then they are nobody. There is no talent here and all our teams as well as our rugby future are are doomed! Surely this is common knowledge ;) Geez dude!

 Dave

It took me quite a while to unearth the info and the longer I worked on it - the more frustrated I became.   I realized more than ever before the massive damage Meyer, Ludeke, Coetzee and White did to the franchise and SA teams by their stupid selection and game plans idiocy.  The only coach who was aware of the massive pool of players available was in fact Ackerman and he also insisted on a comprehensive game plan.   Because he did not follow Meyer's idiotic game plan - Meyer punished the Lions by refusing to select any of their players for the Springbok team .

Let's see how well they do this season to judge the depth of SA rugby.
Not much difference between a new carthorse and an older carthorse, regardless of the age other either.

Yep Mike its all in the coaches......they can do so much good but equally so much damage......Meyer, Ludeke and Coetzee were all cut from the same conservative cloth.
