Especially in the light that we have to create developement, depth and new stock for the future...are we falling into the same old trap in the past and will run out of ammunition...it certainly appears so...are we scared to change until too late??

Tyrone Green and Warrick Gelant (46 carries and 17 defenders beaten in URC) and Green brilliant for Quins especially in the turnaround match against Bristol.

And then Evan Roos the 23 year Stormers no 8 with 57 carries, not to mention Andre Esterhuizen who has dominated battles in midfield with raw power and vision and awareness.

I'm a Rassie supporter but it certainly shows a weakness here and yes it's a common weakness in SA rugby...we may have many pluses in many other areas but this has shown in the past, reasons why we are sometimes vulnerable.

I agree. And this has been a problem for longer than I remember....the inability of SA Rugby to cast a wider net to stop the departures of the likes of Greene, Esterhuisen etc..etc... .Maybe its the stubbornness of Rassie & N that these obvious world class players don’t play for the boks or maybe R & N are just pawns being influenced and moved in a certain direction....I don’t really know....if there is no player depth created than we will keep on playing with golden oldies.

What incentive is there to stay in South Africa? You have a golden opportunity to take your family to a better life and make a better living. Imagine having your child born abroad, now they have dual citizenship. Imagine having the chance to be a Japanese citizen. What a life! Is the green and gold really enough to turn these down?

I think not really....another thing besides the money is the safety aspect...I stayed in Germany for big part of my life, and you can literally leave your doors open at night....also walking on the streets late at night is not a problem...not like here.

I have a cousin who used to visit my family in the UK, she would speak negatively about where we lived and the life we had. Cape Town was always the place to be. I told her quite bluntly that she lives in a dump and that's why she would never ever see us there again. And that was the truth to this day. Quite funny how she would bask in the freedom and abundance we had in England. We all knew inside that there was jealousy. She can't stand outside her own house without fear of harm, they can no longer roam the park near their house without some level of fear. My aunt was always the kind to shield herself from reality, until her neighbour was broken into a couple of years ago. Now they live with security cameras, constantly watching their phones to see what is going on all over the property. It's ludicrous. I am so glad to see these young sportsmen leave SA, making the most of their talent and having a better life early. Exposing themselves to new cultures and expanding their minds. To give their kids a way out from the horrors of South Africa.

That is true....for the rugged Amazing beautiful nature and natural resources we have here in sa, surely by now we should have managed to create some kind of safety and security here in SA ? Well we can only hope.....I came back because of the beauty and weather.....getting to depressed in north Germany with mostly cold and grey weather most of the year. Always pros and cons.....
