As Venus said 36 is the new 26.....I have been pointing this out for years. Great sports stars are retiring too early.

 Yes Venus is 36 and Serena is 35. Serena would do well for the Chiefs at tighthead!
Federer is 35 years old and Nadal is 30. Stan Wawrinka is 31.

mozart, I really take comfort in knowing that there is a chance that we older folks might still have a shot.
Great to see these champs being able to deliver at this stage of their careers.
Unfortunately, this does not hold true for all sports. 
Goodluck to them they are truly deserving. 

Oddly the old fogies have folded in golf....I saw Tiger missed the cut yesterday. And I think I'm at the point where new technology can no longer compensate for the effects of age. We can only soldier on into an uncertain future AJ.
