I posted this visual on the last thread, but it broke it so- therefore created a new thread.

This was not the first time at happened. It also happened in a final between NZ and SA ion Las Vegas a few years ago. The 8th player was discovered by the ref when a scrum was formed - who in that game sent the 8th player off the field.
This type of thing does not happen by accident - nobody can tell me that Tietjens did not know he had 8 players on the field and not 7. It is very difficult to discover that discrepancy in a fast moving game and it is obvious that Tietjens used that difficulty when his team is in trouble.
Cheating in sport is a major problem - same as sports betting and manipulation of sport for the purpose. People who participate should be banned from involvement in sport and with the latest development - something serious should be done as to cheating officials.

There is another player under where the phone advert is. It should be investigated and dealt with properly. This would have been an ac cident - if it sdid not happen in the past - but it did - so is it systematic cheating?

He's only being a team man and running alongside the pitch supporting his mates. It's that sort of teamwork that got the ABs into the Final, unlike your boys who are in the 3rd/4th playoff; just like in RWC 2015.....

It's only cheating if you get caught AND intent can be proven. How do you prove intent? Well there are procedure for replacing players during a match....

The same thing happened in Las Ve gas in a final there - but before serious damage could be done the referee found out at a breakdown siotuation and he ordered one of the players off the field. How long the extra player was on the field was never clarified.
If it was the first time ever and happened with the same team and not any other team - there are serious question marks about whether it was a mere accident or whether there was intent. If this indeed was proved to be the case - it may be wise to study the tapes of previous game to see whether it did not happen during other crucial games in the past.
If it indeed happened then there are serious ethical questions to be asked and a mere statement that it was an error is just not enough. Can you tell me that Tietjens did not realize he had 8 players on the field of play. If he did not - he must be the biggest fool in the world who cannot even count to 7.
I think that if there was indeed 8 players on the field of play that calls for serious action - not a mere slap on the hand.
