That is quite an impressive run! Is this something that happens regularly at his new club or is it just a flash in the pan? He is a player that needs space to do damage, as he did in this video. I wonder what would have become of him if he had played his whole career at outside center or wing? Would probably have been one of the best ever! Oh well, he didn't, and instead played 8th man, where he spent most of his time in heavy traffic....where he is nothing special!

First time I saw him he had one such barn-storming run & I thought he was unstoppable. Then he sort of became average, great shame. Maybe it was because of injury or poor player management?

Pretty impressive. I notice despite all the criticism leveled at Jake, Montpellier is lying 3rd in the French Top 14. The guy just keeps producing results.

Spies' firs t run since 2007 - must be a massive achievement.
Mozart - don't get all heated up again.  All the major teams had to give up their main players for the French test squad.   It is back to normal and the normal slide will set in again.

Wouldn’t put too much weight into that. The current French test squad is only very marginally better that the club players.

Not entirely sure about that.   Look at what happened between  Stade Francais and Toulouse this weekend.

 Was a great run
He did that at junior level in just about every match.
Just goes to show how low the quality of local rugby is in france.
Actually, club rugby in europe is generally much poorer than provincial rugby here.

Beware - Ceradunce is going to get lyrical and all agog about that statement.  And Spies is an ex-Bull - another reason to send him getting a shouting spree against you.
