These articles are all from the same source. I am waiting for the specialist reports to be put on the Sharks website - before accepting the real situation. There are clear indications that Du Toit will only be asessed by specialists today after a scan and the articles all came from the same source before the assessment was really done.
It could be a fact - but one sh ould see what the specialist wrote about it after the scan.

Sensible stance Mik - lest wait for the specialsit reports. Its amazing how our lock resources have been so depleted. Bekker in Japan. Flip injuted. Lood injured. Etzebeth out for the moment. Steph Injured. Lewies is also out! Willemse is away.
Meyer must take a closer look at Jean kleyn, Ruan Botha and Jaque Du Plessis. Etzebeth hopefully will get fit and remain so.
We still have dozens of locks better than matfiled.
Huge blow to the Sharks. Where is that guy Oosthuisen who played well last season. If they get him going it will help and of course get Lewies back. It woud have helped if David Bullbring was still with them
The trouble with the sharks is there are too many old guys. Ageing font row. Alberts is getting on and should move to lock. Wentzel is old and so is fat Stevens. Jean Deysel is also thirty.
With the NH and Japan and even Oz also raiding our resources its getting harder for the Sharks to raid other Provinces like the WP and Cheethas. Hahhahahahahaha
The only way out for us is to get massive sponsorship and even that would not solve things entirely. Will we ever saturate the NH and Japan. How amny of our palyers can they absorb. They are now going for the cream and after the world cup who will be left.
Who also will be left standing by RWc time?

I think it seems likely that some of you want to attend his medical appointments with him....and only then will you believe as you will have been told first hand !!

A massive blow.......what is so strange is that the cause of the injury seemed so innocuous

Yep, gotta feel for this young talented player whose career has so far been blighted by serious injuries .

As I said on my previous post, it seems similar to Owen Farrell. He too walked off the pitch, in fact, he had to be forced to leave. And, as I said, Austen Healey pointed out that a total rupture does not hurt, you don't know you have done anything. It is the partial that causes acute pain; when there are still fibres attached.
