You promise you will join our League - but has not registered yet.   If you need help we will gladly assist.
Let me help you with a quick registration:-
1   Go to the following site -https://fantasy.foxsports.com.au/rugby/super-rugby/classic/#login
2   Press on "Play Now"
3   You will then be given an option to select the team.   For ease of reference press the button for automatic selection of the team - you can always change the players afterwards.
4   Fill in the required fields - name - username - password, etc
5    Select the League button and press on joining an existing League.   In this case put in the League reference as  NURLVTA7
SHOULD NOT TAKE YOU LONGER THAN 5 MINUTES TO REGISTER

Fantasy Rugby keeps you interested in the entire tournament, not just in the matches involving the team you support. You'll be surprised how many more games you watch with interest when you have a Fantasy team.

Managing a FR team also makes you more aware of players . . . who is starting, who is injured, who is on form etc.

As an example, you'd never see a Fantasy Rugby manager saying something laughably stupid like Stuart Hogg is the "new thing" at fullback when he's actually played 50 tests for Scotland.

Wehe! Yes, 50!

Dumb statements like that are more likely to come from the blithering idiots who prefer to slag off Fantasy Rugby and are too chicken to play because it will expose their rugby ignorance.

Even my 2 girls and their brothers had a team ,beat me too even though the girls made their picks based on cuteness .None know or knew a damn about rugby but can tell you not only who is the bestest looking half back but which players  are the best value for money .Even if they dont know a fly-half from a forward .

Way back in school, I would pick the Bok team 95% to a tee, prior to the announcement.  I watched most CC games and had a good feel for how things would pan out. These days, I watch most of the Stormers games and another team here and there. I don't have a clue as to who is hot and who not...still love the game though.

I would like your participation very much - so please make sure you are on asap.   I hope the vacancy is not taken up by anybody but you.   Please note  that most members are in fact NZ team supporters and I would like to see a balance being in place.

Plum, the League you were trying to join is the Head-to-head league. Please rather join the Open league where the league code is SJCNUJ6A and then confirm your team name.

Just_win, do you have any contact details for ABasquefan and, secondly, do you know which poster calls his FR team "Relentlessly Awesome"?

Well I know nothing about how this works.
Looked through the stat/point allocations and came up with the following idea.
I bought players based on the difficulty of the game they would be playing in the coming round.
In other words I ignored good players if their team would be up against a similar or better team in that round. The Sharks have a relatively easy game and as such I picked Lambie at 10. I also picked quite a few Lion's since they'll probably steam roll the Cheetahs. I picked whitely at 8 because tackles and offloads seem to be the main scoring criteria for 8s and he normally gets a lot of both.
Obviously there are countless variables but generally speaking, are these roughly the things one has to take into consideration ?

 Plum
I use more or less the same method  - but I must warn you that there is a limit number of changes you can make every round - so  have a look a few rounds ahead when you pick players.
To help newbies of the more experienced players will announce their squad ahead of the start of the round - so in round 1 you can still make changes.
My provisional team I registered are as follows:-
PR  -   Malherbe, Sio  - bench O FranksHO  -  Marx               - bench VisagieLO   -  Du Toit, De Jager   -  bench WhitelockBR   -  Savea, Kriel, A Botha - bench J SchatzSH   -  Perenara                   - bench ReinachFH   -  Barrett                     -  bench PollardCE   -  Van Rensburg, Emery - De la FuentaBR   -  McKenzie, Milner-Skudder, Senatla - bench Bosch
I must warn though that I may make some changes once the actual teams are announced.
Please also note that there are major point scorers in teams and in those I include Marx, Du Tout, Savea and Kriel amongst the forwards and Barrett, Van Rensburg, Milner-Skudder and McKenzie amongst the backs - those are my bankers.
I may change the centers to accommodate Vorster if he is in the Lions starting line-up.

For once you are right. I don't give a flying fig that you have selected the painfully useless and always injured Malherbe and Klieintjie Kriel on the flank. Who the hell could possibly be interested?

Plum, your strategy is spot on but take heed of what ou Maaik says about limited transfers.
Make sure you pick some bankers who will hopefully stay in your team for the duration and also, watch out for those byes. If you have 7 Hurricanes in your team and they have a bye the next round, you have a serious problem.
