The following from News24:-
"Wallabies star David Pocock will miss two Super Rugby matches for the Brumbies after being banned by the SANZAAR Judiciary on Tuesday.

Pocock pleaded guilty to grasping the neck of Chiefs No 8 Michael Leitch during the match won by the Chiefs 48-23 in Canberra on Saturday.

Pocock was suspended up to April 24.

"Having conducted a detailed review of all the available evidence, including all camera angles and additional evidence, including from the player and submissions from his legal representative I accepted the player's admission that he had committed an act of foul play," said SANZAAR duty judicial officer Adam Cassleden.

Cassleden said he took into account mitigating factors including Pocock's early plea, his good character, genuine remorse and excellent disciplinary record.

Pocock, who will be free to resume playing on April 25, will miss the Brumbies' matches against the Waratahs and Crusaders."

Poc ock did something serious involving a New Zealand player so he must be punished severely - if a NZ player did the same they would not even be charged leave alone banned.

Well, Messam got off scott free last year. It depends on the charge. Mike is only voicing the growing perception. As long as the citings and sanctions are done ìn the current unprofessional way, it will always give credence to conspiracy theorists. Rugby's house is all but in order.

What about a charge laid against Cane and summarily dismissed by the judiciary committee.  If Cane was an SA or Australian player and the opponent was from new Zealand he would have copped a ban.
Sad to say this issue is not dealt with on a square and fair basis and is a bit of an embarrassment since the playing field is not level and favour NZ players beyond others.

Brycy as you well know our saffa friends all adhere to the 'aliens did it " conspiracy theory .Notice no bugger said anything after Podork got away with trying to stamp on MaCaws head same as that slimy wee prick from wales in 2010 who clotheslined Richie and strutted around like a hero and got not a mention. And what about wee J.DP  when he in full view mind ,walked up behind Moore and raked his eyes and got away with that too .But I guess loser fans gotta beyatch about something other than 'the ref did us in !'Funny that level playing field bit Mikey when we see conferences set up to guarantee  at least 2 home playoffs to saffa teams 2 of which avoid playing NZ at all the cowards ! The Stormers even rigged the comp so as to play the 2 strongest Aussie  sides at home and the 3 weakest away !Level playing field my ars.e ,we never hear you try to refute that eh Mikey ?Wonder you havent said he copped it for being a half coc.ked Saffa what with him being from Zimbabwe or wherever the hell .

 Wardad
this is not the issue here - I have condemned the system you refer to time and again.  I have been highly critical of SARU and their BS.
However, the arrangement of games is not the function of the franchises - but of  SANZAAR - so I do not buy the story about the Stormers home game story at all.
What is under discussion here is the favouritism of NZ players when it comes to player charges with dangerous play - that has been going on for a long time - NZ players literally gets away with murder.
However, the fish is biting -

That arrangement stemmed from the sh!t SANZAAR decision and not from the Stormers.  Nobody likes it and many members has written pages about it.   I m not telling you anything - but that that was part of the rubbish system introduced this year.
