I am still hoping that things will turn out better than expected. I thought the newspaper reports were premature and not scientifically-medically based as the scan and specialist report were only to be done on Monday and the reports surfaced already on Saturday.
I may be wrong - but th following seems to be significant:-
"yesterday’s initial appointment didn’t go quite as badly as expected."
If the injury was as serious as quoted in the numerous newspaper articles - the specialist would have insisted on a further operation and the news would have been on the Sharks website as well.
It may be the case that Du Toit is consulting with another specialist as to the best way to deal with the knee to prevent future potential serious injuries.
Anyway - there is nothing on the issue of the injury on the official Sharks website at that.
Other than some Matfield stooges on this site I am sure that everyone else is positive, wish him well a speedy recovery to ensure an early return to the rugby field.

Lets just hope by some miracle its not serious and that he will only be out for a few weeks......we need this kid in the Bok mix, he is a special player.

Is that Sharksworld some kind of christian happy-clappy rugby website? What's all this nonsense about praying hard? Have people honestly not got more important things to pray to god about than a rugby player's injury? Is god going to intervene in human affairs just to fix Pieter-Steph's knee while turning a blind eye to Cyclone Pam, Boko Haram killings or mass hangings in Pakistan?
Besides the complete and utter lack of persepective or priority by these happy clappy hand-wringers , I must say that if we're relying on the power of prayer to get Pieter-Steph back before the RWC then I for one am not very confident!

Saffex....is it an aim of yours to get banned from everywhere or do you just have a list of favoured places ? ! Is it like a Bucket List ( another pet hate of mine ) ?
