where did it all go south for whom many believed was the next best thing? After two RWC's with zip to show he's now hedging on playing 7's. Many Ozzies are glad to see the back of him in test rugby....coaches aren't excited about signing him up. It's not that he couldn't pass a ball or keep defences on their toes.....my guess is that he created more mistakes than what's acceptable to win a test match. Enough mistakes for coaches to lose faith and turn their backs on him. Besides that he couldn't tackle so in  defense he became a liability.

Just another 'great young player' hyped up the gazoo. When we questioned his suitability for test rugby, we were out of date, didn't understand how the game should be played. Now after sinking the Aussies on many occasions, he is toast. And here's the scary thing...bad as he has been, the Qualude is far closer to being a test flyhalf than Goosen. Another view which was attacked, but proved to be true.

Another "Class Act" to have hit the earth like an asteroid.

Last I checked he was in the Oz WC squad, then moved to Toulon where he started at 10 and is now like many 15's players trying to have a crack at 7's with a bid to playing in the Olympics.

Would help if you did some research......most of us knew the above without need for research

Glad to be of service

That's exactly what denny said....we just interpreted it correctly. As usual you tried to put lipstick on the pig. They guy has failed to claim the Aussie 10 berth, so now he is trying his hand at 7s.
It would help if you took off the rose tinted spectacles.

Quade playing for a Kiwi team would have been nice to see. I still rate him.

The Qualude would never make a Kiwi team ....they actually place an emphasis on winning.

 Research huh?
Tell you what research tells me....1) He was a failure at the 2011 RWC.....forced  into the last line of defence because he can't tackle and Nonu went through him like a hot knife through melted butter 2) He made the 2015 RWC squad but was relegated to playing second fiddle to the new kid on the block Bernard Foley. That in itself was an indictment of failure.
Anything else I can help you with?
Oh now please go ahead and blame the coach, tell us Chieka is clueless.

".... they actually place an emphasis on winning."
Ekzekerlly...clinical mistake free running rugby where the investment in Carter turned to gold and gimmickry was confined to a stage and a seated audience.
