You cannot rank Goosen at no 1 because of his performances in the Rugby Champions Cup. That competition is, according to yourself, below CC standard, remember?

Yes, I don't rank players outside of SA, performing overseas doesn't compare them head to head.

So the only commet of Ceradunce is about Goosen - not about his most admired player Morne Steyn.
Ceradunce was the great idiot - who wrote about how Goosen is the Racing Metrro Reject and how Racing is looking for a flyhalf to replace S exton. Those comments still valid - dunce?
BB - this item is to draw out of hiding the shady Morne Steyn supporters. However - it was not successful and Mozart has fled from the scene and the Troof Fairy has gone quiet too, while Ceradunce has gone silent on Morne too.
15 Dec 2014, 12:55#5
Yes. They are. Racing Metro are still looking to replace Se xton. I have not gone silent. I am just no longer interested in your BS. That is all. I have not really had time to watch a lot of rugby lately, TBH. I only saw a part of one of the sevens games and I have not watched any rugby since the test against Wales.
I will probably watch again after this weekend.

Dunce
Crap - they took Goosen on cotnract knowing that S exton will be elaving - so they are looking for a flyhalf to back up Goosen - not replace S exton - you bloody idiot.

A newspaper report is all that convince the dunce of what is going on. Castres was atrocious in their games this year in the Cjampuions Cup series - and so was Tales.
That makes for interesting evaluation - doffies - get real for a change.
Is S exton injured - why has he not played for Racing Metro since the November tests? If he is not careful he may end up on the bench for Racing. But then you love bench players and make them out to be top notch.
15 Dec 2014, 15:43#9
Correct about Castres this year but last year and last year, when everything was happening, they weren't.
I know what the story with Se xton is but I cannot tell you because it is a newspaper report as well and you do not like that, except of course newspaper reports that supports anything that you say or believe.

S o what is the newspaper story about S exton? I askd a plain question - is he injured?
15 Dec 2014, 16:25#11
He is not injured. He and his club decided on a bit of time out after the EOYTs. He will be back this weekend against La Rochelle, I think it is.

1) Pollard
2) Lambie
3) Goosen
4) Boshoff
5) Catrakillis
6) Swiel
7) Potgieter
8) Coleman
9) Cronje
10) Zielinga
11) Jantjies
This is how I see it now...the order could well change in the not too distant future but with respect it's time for MS to bow out gracefully. He is not the future...there are just too many younger 'uns with scope...some need to prove themselves more and Morne will just be a stumbling block for future developement.

Ceradunce
"He and his club decided on a bit of time out after the EOYTs."
That is weird. Sinc the start of the French rugby season at the end of August - S exton played in the following:
Top 14 - 4 gamesChamions Cup - 2 gamesIreland - 3 games
In other woords he played 9 games in nearly four months and is now been rested for 3 weeks during three Champions Cup games - coming back to play against the weakish Top 14 side La Rochelle. I have not seen the matches he played in - but looking at his statistics for the games he played in for his club - he was not a house on fire at all.
That ouds to me that he does not show real interest in his club games and consequently not performing up to standard - so he is being played only in games where Racing Metro has an easy chance to win.
We will see with the Champions Cup games in January whether he will be "given time out" ag ain.

Seb, agreed with your rankings except for the fact that I would rather play Drosty's 6th XV hooker out of position at 10, ahead of Jantjies.

BB, true, but you can bet your bottom dollar that Morné will be in the mix come RWC.
15 Dec 2014, 22:41#19
Mark my words: Meyer will have Morne often on the bench at least and when the chips are down and the outcome may depend on kicks (penalty and/or drops) he will not hesitate to bring Morne on.

Answer...I'm glad you agree with me BB because I respect you as a very balanced reporter of the game...nobodys' a fundi...Lambie has work to prove but I believe in him...I'm a good judge of character but not an expert in the finesse of rugby.
Elton Jantjies, aka Silky hands impressed me in early stages of his career but the world is very cruel to someone who has lost his father...I never lost my dad at early age but my mom through cancer...set me back a long time...very hard to recover...an old man for a young man is even more devastating... being a mentor of masculine support... huge recovery project...the fact that you are still in the game is a miracle itself...I'm glad that hardass Saffex sees this... that's why I see good points in you, foreign selector in Suffolk...Becs likes you so cannot be such a monster...
Ellton I hope you can bring yourself back, young man, I was also your fan some time back, I like the way you used to play...I've rated you way down but I believe you can change the order...miracles can happen Elton...obstacles are there to challenge...I believe you have the talent, not for the WC but for later, you are still young...challenge Patrick and Handre and the others on the upper side of the list and prove us all wrong...I would love this.

O - please. Neither Frnsie or Morne have been proper flyhalfs ever and you want them as no 1 and 3. I was expecting this hence the thread. Nice amusmenet on a dreary afternoon.

Ranking of people from most to least intelligent in the world. 1st Steven Hawking (or whoever your favorite is), 2nd = ....., 3rd = ....., 7 125 000 000th = dumb@assmike
The positions just preceding dumb@assmike are taken up by those with traumatic brain injury resulting in no cognitive or even autonomic neurological function
