Hi there JW. Lets face it nz's premier outfit not looking good. Lacking grunt. Poweder puf players relying on netballing skills! BwahhahahahahahaThe Mighty Stormers will be licking their chops and the Sharks will probably start with 13 men against these hapless crusties!!
I must try and see if mcaaaw is still playing.

I know the Crusaders are traditionally slow starters but they looked nothing short of pathetic today.
Yes, they're missing the likes of Nemani Nadolo, Kieran Read, Sam Whitelock and Israel Dagg, but even when those guys get back it's hard to picture this lot improving to the extent that they can be contenders by the end of the season.
Well done Rebels!

Will the OZ domination of the kiwis sides continue this year?
Its early days kbbs so dont shed too many tears.
Dan Carter like ou mcaaaw is looking old and tired.
Rebels closed the game out very neatly.

I share your comment on the Crusaders being pathetic today - they could not even get a bonus point of the match.
My own impression was that -
* McCaw showed everyone that at 34 he is not up to standard anymore; and* Carter looked frail and he was poor in performance as well.
Is it timer for these two to forget about the world cup and opt out? If not they can become the unnecessary baggage that copst NZ dearl;y in the WC>
A bad start for the Crusaders - and they have ample work to do.

Don't get too excited Beeno...it's just a ploy...erm a smokescreen...the tricky, devious Kiwi birds have something up their sleeve...didn't Bob Dylan write a song ..."the first one now will soon be last"...it's not really important how you begin but how you finish...I think the 'Saders will indeed improve with Reed, Nadolo,Dagg and Whitlock.
Cloudy are you having a bad influence on Richie???

Well Mike...it seems that SA is not alone with ageing selections...it's strange, it does not happen that often with NZ selectors...if Carter, Mc Caw and co don't perform they will simply not get selected...but in SA you could well see a very old lock play in a WC (is Victor 37 going on 38)...I know it makes Mozart start to feel a bit younger . That's the difference...NZ coaches are not sentamentalists like Saffas who live in dream worlds of rainbows and fantasies.

Not a great start to my SuperBru, but I am pretty sure I don't stand alone.

Ou brycy getting some comfort where he can via the cricket. Remember though brycy it was a warm up game and not taken seriously be anyone but deluded kbbs and of course rooitwit! As for the hapless old crusts they can count themselves lucky not to have played the B rumbies otherwise a cricket score would have eventuated.
Meyers continued selection of wee matfiled 106 kg is a blunder that could cost us the RWC. I cant say the same re mcaaaw and dan as one has doubts about the wee abs being seriosu RWC contenders.

There comes a time when the truth of it all steps up and looks you squarely in the eye.
Dan the Man and Sir Richie saw today just how far off the pace they are ... it must surely have dawned on them that they're ... dare I say it ... old and tired.
It's heartbreaking to see these two legends still trying. I'm sure they've been convinced that there's another season in them.
Don't believe the nonsense you've been told, boys.
No matter how willing the spirit, if the body shows you the finger ... that's it.
Face the facts ... your done.

How keen are our saffa friends on burying McCaw and Carter before time!!!!!!!!
They even seem worried for the AB,....... or it could be fear to imagine them fit for the RWC? I doubt very much that they could be worried for the AB, so......
Every single year is the same story,....... bad (or disastrous, as this year) start of the season for the saders,........ and our saffa friends fully dismissing the team itself or single players,....... and what happens every year at the end of the season, when it counts?
the saders reach the finals and the players get fit for those finals and the AB games.
Let's wait till April when they'll visit the republic to talk about the saders, McCaw and Carter,........
