Red and Yellow cards for cricket

What are your thoughts on this
Certainly is an interesting suggestion, and it is being trialed already

It depends what is deemed 'excessive sledging', because you don't want to lose the edge you sometimes get in test cricket

 Any system in sports that removes equal competition between 2 teams, seated in the discretion of a handful of individuals is wrong on so many levels. There are other sanctions against real offenders that would be more efective and less prone to human error. Cards in Rugby and Football are so obviously wrong, it beggars believe.
